After its closure for several months this summer to allow work to be carried out in the tunnel outside Glasgow Queen Street, ready for electrification the E & G is now open once again. This is the fastest, most frequently used line between the two Scottish cities, with a service every 15mins in each direction, taking less than an hour! So I went to some of the stations along the route in order to catch some ScotRail 170's at speed!
This video includes footage taken at Polmont, Falkirk High, Croy and Lenzie and features all 3 types of ScotRail DMU's, 170's, 158's and a 156.
