That was very soothing. I also made a big move recently, from the city I’d lived in for the past 25 years to a more rural location, leaving friends and family behind for new adventures. It was great at first but now I’m feeling a little isolated and anxious. I need to be brave and get more involved with our new community but I’m quite shy! I have joined a book club. Baby steps…😊

This would have to be my absolute favourite practice of yours Joelle. I did this last night (and will be tonight also and for the first time in such a long time I didn't wake up with fibromyalgia pain and sometimes anxiety gives me sleep problems. I slept right through. The relaxing poses and the positive affirmations was such a good combination. Thank you as always you are my always go to for yoga on UA-cam. I really hope your move goes well. Thank you for another great sequence! By the way, I would say that literally every practice of yours is super great for anxiety and stress - it's combination of your voice, background music (that is just the right volume), the pace of practice, that helps to calm down and unwind after a hard day at work or wherever. I remember someone has already mentioned it in some comment to your video. That's why I always try to do you practices before bedtime - it helps me to calm down and helps a lot for insomnia.

Wow this yoga practice was exactly what I needed! This was so relaxing to my soul, and I felt so much release. Especially on the crocodile pose I literally felt the energy releasing out of my stomach into the earth. I will most definitely be revisiting this! Thank you Joelle

Ich bin mit Englisch und Französisch aufgewachsen und habe Deutsch als Erwachsene gelernt (mein Mann ist Deutscher - trotzdem mache ich immer noch viele Fehler !) In the morning: 10 min
In the evening: 10 min
At night: 10 min.
I'm +50 years old and I have Cervicale pain.

Hi Shazia, I'm glad you like them! I'd say that theoretically there's no reason you can't do multiple practices in a day, and in fact many people do. But I can't responsibly guarantee what's most appropriate for YOU, since I don't know how doing so makes you feel. So my best advice is to keep listening to your body and focus on what feels GOOD, rather than just the time spent on the mat. If you find that doing 10 minutes 3 times a day leaves you feeling better afterwards, go for it! Otherwise feel free to take a step back and try one or two sessions a day instead. I’m following your The chronic pain game plan and finding it very helpful. Do you have any tips for making sidesphinx easier on the shoulders?
So glad to have you with us for the chronic pain game plan Elise!! Great question on side sphinx. The first option would be to take the forearm a little further from the body (so the side sphinx gets lower) to see if that's enough to take pressure off of the shoulder. If that still feels too intense, another great option is to wedge a bolster, a couple of pillows, or any other comfortable support under the bottom ribs so that the prop helps take a lot of the weight and takes over some of the "work" the shoulder is doing when holding us up. I hope that helps!

I find embrio pose very uncomfortable is there a reason why?
I'm afraid that's tricky to answer since you didn't say why you find it uncomfortable, but you're welcome to take child's pose instead or any other pose that works better for you!
