- Greetings ! So I came to continue the construction of the dugout a month after my last arrival, a number of restrictions on travel in transport affected me too, but this is not a problem, I broke through, the day turned out to be busy, spread a little and made a stone wall near the stove, shutters on the window and much more, the bomb rested!

Great idea with rocks between stove and walls. Protects walls, absorbs heat to release slowly later and the nice flat Rock for a table.!!!👍👍👍👍

I like how you chop the wood for fire and collect it in the forest. Reminds of my late mum when we went to collect wood for winter and she would chop the wood with an axe😊hoping you are safe😊❤️

I understand your reasoning for the short chimney, concealment would be top priority if I built this but.... At least keep extension and wind/rain diffuser in Dug-out, install/remove as you come and go. Love the build, keep at it!
Gotta say man that's one sweet hideaway. An awesome little hunting base camp. With some more camouflage work it would hide very well from the majority of cityslickers/ hunters???
.You should be checking lots of those quartz rocks for gold showings ,especially the ones with green shiny soaplike rock in them , can be traces of gold in them.I would definitely check them out ,you could be sitting on a gold mine.I mined for 50 years and just recently retired ,I,m using my wifes face book and happened on your post. Good Luck ,Ckeck them out and I,m sure you will find Gold in your area !!!

You know it would might be easier to use a piece of canvas or some other strong material and drag heavy loads like those rocks rather than trying to carry them.
Stones will soak up heat and help keep you warm during the night

Hi the way you use that chainsaw it's like an extension of you arm and even allowing for the string to measure the wood for fitting above the door, it's like it was "made to measure". Well done.

Next item will be to build yourself a door, which would help to keep out the cold and keep the warmth inside when it's needed. It would also help to keep any critters that are running around there out when you are gone or away

Да и купи плотнецкий молоток. Обух топора для забивания не очень подходит. Можно в любой момент без него остатся да и травму можно получить. Ну а так лайк заслуженный.👍😀

I’ve never seen a sky light in a dugout. Does it leak?
I love the build but I have group questions. If the build intent was for bugging out in hard and dangerous times, I feel the most danger is not from the elements but from humans. How do you deal with intruders? How do you maximize hut concealment. Alarm system, and smoke concealment? Weapons are a must but typically only useful if you have the element of surprise. Thoughts?
Location is very very important, so is making use of terrain. If no one knows you are there, they can't threaten you. At any rate, there is virtually no way a human could survive alone - we are group animals and that is the real answer to such a question.
