Onboard - Suzuki GT 250 (1974) - The First One

Today, an improvised ride with my first project. To date, it's still my most extensive work.
I bought this quite sad-looking bike for dirt cheap, with a double goal. First, I wanted to learn mechanic skills with something simpler, cheaper (and therefore less risky) than my XJR 1300 which was my only vehicle back in those days. Second, I wanted a taste of what "old" bikes were like.
This bike seemed right : very common but not TOO popular, therefore having lots of components and information available but prices not being driven too high, sad looking and lots of work to do but roughly complete.
Life being life, it was a very long time before being able to enjoy it, and even now there is still some issues to solve, but I learned a lot with it. And the result isn't too shabby !
