Theatre of Tragedy es el álbum debut de la banda noruega homónima. El álbum vendió aproximadamente 75,000 copias.1
Es considerado uno de los primeros álbumes de metal Gótico de la historia. Contiene líricas poéticas escritas en inglés moderno temprano, la combinación de voces de la "Bella (soprano) y la Bestia (guturales)", pianos, teclados atmosféricos, y ritmos lentos reminiscentes de los primeros trabajos de Paradise Lost.

2 decades later, Musique must be one of Theatre of Tragedy's albums that better aged. Love it.
It has changed my life, my prospective on creativity, music, art. And i was so lucky, one day, to buy totally at random one newspaper to discover that the same day they were in my town with a date of musique tour in a small pub/venue. I've stand, first row, for 90 min in front of Liv in complete state of trance. That night we were 300 fans or less. A kind of private gig. Best night of my life.
Man, how i appreciated this! Back in the days, my dream was to see them alive!

Empezando por sacar al gobierno que permite, que el reggaeton y trap de pase por tv y radios, son ellos los que tienen en control a las masas, y luego se quejan del por qué hay tantos niños robando. XD. Son ellos mismos quienes permiten que esa basura de música con letra inflamante se extienda.
