The brand new micro sdxc uhs-i card i put in the showbox causes the record button to blink. It does not do anything different after holding the record button down for 5 seconds or even on a single push. Never worked with an SD card before so not sure if I bought the wrong one or what??? Do you know what the problem could be?

Have you updated the firmware in the Showbox and the remote eq box to latest version?

@@Bari-Tone-oz8ug No, I spent about five hours last night trying to update and although my macbook air is a few years old, it has the required OS version and it would not allow me to do it. I got as far as , this application was downloaded from google at such and such time, would you like to continue. (Or something like that) When I press yes, it tells me it cannot be completed. Also, my privacy and security settings looked different than the download instructions and wasn’t able to find the input monitoring switch like the instructions and video showed. I’m so frustrated with this part of the Showbox. I also tried to format my sd card using my camera (not sure if that is the same but dont have a card reader to usb-c needed to format on my computer and it has been formatted but still blinking rapidly.
