@matt_one Happy new year to you Luka. Things are good thanks. Finally now starting to have a bit more time in my studio to work on my own projects. Up to now any time in the studio has mainly been working on writing and building backing tracks for our 80s band. But we've now a set list of 50 songs, so that will be enough for now. Finally I can get back into writing my own songs and also recording versions of classic 80s music.

...piuttosto sarei curioso di capire come si fa a realizzare un remix tipo i tuoi... a parte la strumentazione di contorno, si tratta di lavorare con i cosiddetti "stems"?

Credo tu sappia bene che un DJ/ remixer professionista riesce ad ottenere gli stems originali dei pezzi da remixare, cosa che per me sarebbe impossibile. Per alcuni pezzi ho ottenuto gli stems con un apposito programma di separazione, che solitamente uso per estrarre le parti vocali. Purtroppo i risultati non sono sempre buoni e mai potranno essere paragonabili a degli stems originali. Comunque, quando ottengo qualcosa di utilizzabile, lo posso usare in vari modi, tagliare, allungare, cambiare l'intonazione, mettere effetti. Una sorta di ricostruzione, ma aggiungendo anche suoni miei per sopperire un po' alla qualità non sempre perfetta degli stems. Questo l'ho fatto spesso, un valido esempio è il mashup "Electro Spectre/A-ha" che ho fatto qualche mese fa. Invece in questo pezzo dei Cure ho usato solo la parte vocale e il sample di chitarra, tutto il resto l'ho messo io usando synths virtuali.

Απλά ξέρω πολύ καλά πώς στους μεταφραστές δεν υπάρχει η "ευγενική φόρμα" που χρησιμοποιείται από Έλληνες καί Λατινογενείς...😄....(έχω τον καημό μου με τις ξένες γλώσσες Ματτ, γιατί είμαι πολύ πίσω...🙈)
