it is always a pleasure to watch your videos and learn so much with each video....no words can be enough to thank you for the time and effort you put into this...i wonder if you would also consider uploading some drawings that we who follow you could use to practice these exercises....it would definitely be appreciated from a learning point of view ! Thank you once again for these wonderful videos :)
It appears that the rib dimensions are not fully defined by the drawing. Your choice to place the 42mm radius of the fillet as the dimension length of the line in the rib drawing seems arbitrary.
Absolutely fantastic, except that's extremely difficult if not impossible to machine as it stands. I've been toolmaking for 38 years so I know what I'm talking about.
In solid works 2022 version, during rib operation, it is asking to select body to extrude the sketch....It is showing as this "The resulting rib does not intersect the existing model."
Sir. I am always getting confused while drawing any sketch like lines, circles etc on any face or point of already sktched part. While I sketch a line on a surface , it comes in another plane. Pl guide.
On your keyboard use the keys"PS" (meaning "Print Screen") then past into MS paint and save as whatever file format you like the best and there you have it.
When I did this part when I was doing the cylinder portion of it I did a reference plane 120 mm upwards off of the bottom face and then did a construction line that was lined with the center of the part that was dimensioned to 125mm. That way your not doing the math when you extrude it
Hey, can you just tell me how to add shining in materials? I make the model you drawn here in a similar way but in this video, your model is shining and mine not. Why?
Hi, Great tutorials! Quick question. So,at 10:23, the 42 mm dimension is used based on the radius. But the vertical line is 1 mm inside the cylindrical portion. Shouldn't I be taking 43 mm instead? Or is that irrelevant ? Thanks
@@herrtuug If you put the line collinear to the curve, Solidworks doesn't recognize that line, and a rebuild error msg pops up...Try it you will understand.
10:20 ,wrong!!!!, you cant take the length 42 mm,its nowhere given,42 is the radius of the arc only. to draw the rib you should draw the 42 mm arc first ( from fig : we can understand that the origin of arc is 42 mm(radius) down ,that will be at the bottom left edge of the cylinder ) then tangent the slanted line and then extrude the rib ,then fillet the 12 mm curve.
Hello. Sir I m learning solidwork, but having difficulty to make 3d object by using multiple views when u dont have isometric view. I m not able to imagine that how that part will actually look like by combining multiple views. Help me.

Younes IHAD he is not talking about the thickness of the rib. he is referring to the 1 mm dimension used at the right plane for the cross-sectional of the rib. I tried drawing without the 1 mm but the software could not create the rib without the 1 mm dimension.
Bro I have a problem during the Installation of solidworks. In the Toolbox / Hole wizard option the Toolbox installation location was displayed as not found....Plz help me to resolve 🙏
This is an easy to follow, high quality tutorial channel, very glad to learn from you!
I enjoy watching your videos on morning coffee
I`ve learn a lot on this channel

Wonderful video
Hello I´m from Mexico and I like your videos teacher. Greetings
Well teaching bro from Bamgladesh
Well done that's very useful 🎉
Thank you so much sir for these wonderful videos. And I like your voice sir😅
You make it look so easy. Thank you sir!
The tutorials are commendable! Thanks to you guys.

THANK YOU SO MUCH TEACHER!!
it's hard to find out your accent. but you are good at teaching. thank u.

It helps me a lot, thanks a lot sir
nice video bro, adding my like got 1K likes

Thank you very much really good videos best I have seen so far
Nice Class Sir

nice video. I enjoyed it.
great video!!!!
Thank you boss
Grate job, thanks for sharing
Very good

Hi. Nice vedio. Can make one vedio just explaine settings of SOLIDWORKS tools..
Thank you so much, teacher
thank you, fast and nice video
I still do not get why you added 6 explaining it will go around. It's still 125-68-6= 57. I don't get it.
Thanks sir
Good
great video. thanks a lot
Great video, thanks!!!
❤thanks
very good video
Would you please make one example tutorial making a boomerang with 3 wings?
In solid works 2022 version, during rib operation, it is asking to select body to extrude the sketch....It is showing as this "The resulting rib does not intersect the existing model."
Bravo thanks
sir which computer you are using?
and specification?
Hi. Do you have all lectures
Sir.
I am always getting confused while drawing any sketch like lines, circles etc on any face or point of already sktched part. While I sketch a line on a surface , it comes in another plane.
Pl guide.
Thank you.
Thank you for your exercise
Superb
Does someone know what kind of component this is?. Where is it used for?. Thank you in advance!
Can you explain the purpose of making the cosmetic thread? Thank you.
thank you for sharing.
Hey Nice work. Where can I find the 2D drawings you use to draw after?
On your keyboard use the keys"PS" (meaning "Print Screen") then past into MS paint and save as whatever file format you like the best and there you have it.
Thank you!
thanx
thanks...
Sir pls upload a video on how to read 2d drawings and convert it into 3d model
Thank you
please make a tutorial on tesla cyber truck

It´s a good video,do you know how to do a lego set?o where can i find its measures?

Can you show us how to make this tutorial with simulation , please ?
Please try to make one video to explain the settings in solidworks

But the vertical line is 1 mm inside the cylindrical portion. Shouldn't I be taking
43 mm instead? Or is that irrelevant ?

I too wonder why he even placed it 1 mm into the cylinder instead of making the construction line colinear to the outline of the cylinder.
@@yony120 It should be colinear. The way he did it will result in a wrong dimension when making a drawing for machining
@@herrtuug If you put the line collinear to the curve, Solidworks doesn't recognize that line, and a rebuild error msg pops up...Try it you will understand.
i also was thinking same that if 1mm is inside the circle than it should be 43mm.
1mm can create alot issue in mechanical design

stuck at 6:15 , filet its in other side , how to change that ?
thx sir
1mm distance is given in the last step in rib construction.. Why?
In 2016 edition where i can found brushed steel ???
Can you download pdf of this exercise thank you
Nycly explain
Good video Sir. There is a 1mm dimension given in the last step of extruding can you please explain how you find it?
How u took 42 rib
Sir my fillet moves in opposite direction, can u plzz help me
obrigado :)
yes my habbibi

How did you get the 63 dimension at 4:21?
125 mm - (68mm-6mm) = 63
👏👏👏👍✌️
I m new this line big problem 2d drawing side view top view front view...
dell i5 laptop will wrk solidworks smoothly

How can get drawing for practice
Can anyone tell me from where i can have drawing jgp file of this part.
screenshot !
Nice , BUT drawing is not given in orthography.
Sir Design engineer ki job h
You're doing a fully blind operation. There is no any industrial way, to make the part.
Ok
0k. 01/10/2023.
where did you get 1 mm at the end before you create the Rib. Blueprint doesn't have that man
Younes IHAD The drawing says 14mm. Look at the flat part of the rib.
Younes IHAD he is not talking about the thickness of the rib. he is referring to the 1 mm dimension used at the right plane for the cross-sectional of the rib. I tried drawing without the 1 mm but the software could not create the rib without the 1 mm dimension.
Onifade Abdulraheem I have created rib without 1mm distance and it works fine. Software can create the rib without 1mm gap.
