The best Channel that I've ever seen on You Tube when in comes to teaching Solidworks, Thank you so much for having shared your knowledge, you help many people across the world with your great job on You Tube, keep going
In my opinion your tutorials are the best way to learn solidworks for a 50 years rookie like me. I like your English spoken because it's easy to understand . Thx for your (solid)work ;)
You are the Best tutor in teaching among all others in the you tube. Speech is Clear, Way of teaching to understand even for a child, Time taken for every activity is precious, The understanding of the learning person's mind in your knowledge is excellent. I gained a great knowledge from you Sir. Keep up your great work. I am from Sri Lanka.
I needed this tutorial 6-7 years ago to my gearbox project, you don't even know how i felt when i was trying to create a Helical gear to my differential. Anyway thanks :)
Just for the future . You should always fully define you sketches before using the features. Another method would be to sketch out the full profile of one tooth, just draw one in each sketch, loft between the three sketches and then pattern the features, that way if you need to modify anything, you only need to modify a simple sketch rather than a patterned one.
Nice demonstration for to point that how well skilled is the Solid Works as 3D designer program, but bevel gears must always be constructed in pairs because the angles of the conical surface depend on the numbers of the teeth of the connected conical gears. And at 5:45 time the surfaces of a tooth are involutes and isn't R 65 radius ... it's very different!
Sir I am veer very great friend of your tutorial, I just follow you and sketch on laptop which is way easier a learning byself under watching you and following you. I bow down you 🙏🙏🙌🙌
I love your tutorials. One small comment: You say mm when it is not. For example, you don’t scale by 0.5 mm but it is a fraction. 50% Other than that it is a great way to study sw
Hi, thanks for this video. It is very helpful for beginners like me. I am new to mechanical modeling and still learning SolidWorks. 13:55 Shows the corner rectangle with cross dashed lines and a center dot. Mined doesn't have it. Only if I use center rectangle. Do you know how can I fix it?
I created this in Inventor. I had a little trouble lofting the bevel profiles at first, but I used the break link command to convert the projected geometry to sketch geometry, and that fixed it.
You’re completely right however for the purpose of this video it will do the job. To create an involute curve would take unnecessary extra time. Also the direction of the teeth isn’t exactly what you’d expect for a helical gear.
Can the biggest radial section not be extruded with a degree of angle and twist to it and then cut away wit a tapered angle ? This would cut out like 20 steps ...
This is great. I learned SOLIDWORKS alone. So there are many features I don't know the use yet. If you were to have me make this, I can use the loft, but I'll remake the drawing every plane. I don't know that you have Entitiy options for that. Thank you!
it was a very good explanation video tutorial. i was triyng to compleate this part around to days . finaly i realice i did not chouse fist scatch plane to make other planes after finish 1st one. grate tutorials .
Important notice to Engineers! This beautiful model IS NOT a proper helical bevel gear at all! Apart from the mistake of not making a single tooth and making a circular pattern from that; the third gear SKETCH should NOT be rotated in the opposite direction from the second. The first gear sketch and the third [preferably of one tooth only] should be connected by a HELICAL SPLINE, which will then be used as the guide-path for the loft. Also, shaft-splines are manufactured by CUTTING into a cylindrical shaft - so they always have a curved outer surface and a flat inner surface - the opposite of what is shown in this model.
the planes and sort of "projection" method used in this video seems funky. There should be a less "weird" way to make the curved teeth part... just imo a strange way that can be done to make them.
Is there a way to maintain relationships between the three profiles that form the gear (i.e., if you modify the first sketch, the other two change accordingly)? Once you rotate the sketch, the relationship seems to be broken.
Please provide information about the component it will usefull to my mini project.please tell me where did i get the matter of the component and where it is used.
I a you fan now i am learning some things i dont know them can you tell me pls how to find the pitch circle dia for the specifc tooth to subtract them exact on the pcd
Amazing video! Your tutorial was one of the best to follow. I have an Optomec DED to play around with and I am anxious to get this printed in stainless steel 316. Thanks!

It's only a schematic design... There is no calculate

You make these projects look so easy and teach it so well
I love that I found this video a year after the class I was taking where I needed to design this part ended XD
Thank u ❤
I complete in my first attempt
Thanks! wonderful SOLIDWORKS instructing videos! 😎
one of the best and clearest solidowrk tutorial
Oh my goddddd. This channel is amazing. I love solidworks and mechanical engineer major so much
I love your tutorials. One small comment: You say mm when it is not. For example, you don’t scale by 0.5 mm but it is a fraction. 50%
Other than that it is a great way to study sw
Great work sir, you are a very good trainer
hi professor what a genius professor are you?. I support it. I really enjoy your vedeos.

Thank you, brother! Amazing tutorial :) God bless you :)
thanks alot. that was totaly usefulto me.🙏
Great job creating the 3 profiles and lofting them together, very slick.
Bro.. you’re goated
You’re the best
Keep up the good work
Model looked complex in thumbnail. But actual process made easy step-by-step. Thank you very much. ❤
You are great at conveying concepts
Great work thank you I learned about rotate

A gear profile is not an arc circle, it's an involute (curve). Not the same thing.

Loved it,This was amazing.Thank you for sharing your knowledge❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ima download it thanks for sharing!!
Sir,
You have accomplished very good demonstration.

អគុណthank, 👏
How can I put a metallic appearance? Despite trying different finishes, the part still maintains a matte appearance.
I love this channel, thank you so much

Then tell me how its done correcltly, or where I can find a right toturial
can we use a Flex command to make a helical teeth
Superb! Very very very good video ! Great!
