- A precious tapir arrives at the zoo, yet keepers worry about its father's behavior. In some cases, new tapir fathers pose a threat to their offspring-will this vulnerable newborn make it through unscathed?
Tapirs are large, herbivorous mammals belonging to the family Tapiridae. They are similar in shape to a pig, with a short, prehensile nose trunk. Tapirs inhabit jungle and forest regions of South and Central America, with one species inhabiting Southeast Asia.
From The Secret Life of the Zoo Season 2 Episode 6: With Christmas approaching, the keepers at Chester Zoo hope to include the animals in the festivities, but some of the animals aren't getting into the Christmas spirit.

Congratulations to Mummy and Daddy Tapir and of course congratulations all the staff. Delighted for you she’s adorable
Holy Toledo, she’s gorgeous!
You’re referring to Amy right?
The Tapir is one of nature's oddities: like something made of spares from different places. 😊
I'm dying from the cuteness overload! 😍😍😍
lovely video, thank you and hope it continues well with the Malay tapirs.
Adorable

❤
I want one so bad
Eles tem acesso a lagos para nadarem???
Duh
😍
Why did they let the father Betong see the baby in the first place? They knew there was a risk of harm to her, and in the wild fathers don't associate with offspring. Insane.
That silly music while Betong chases after Solo is absurd. It's scary-not funny.
