Quest 64 for Nintendo 64 : RNG Review, Episode 1

- This is a video series I've wanted to make for years now (first had the idea in early 2018!) that has finally come to fruition - a game review show where I critically break down various games that interest me, incorporating some live action skits and humour along the way. In this first episode, we look at an old "classic", Quest 64 for the N64, a game I have a long history with. This video was super fun to make, and I have ideas for a bunch more game reviews if it does well. Enjoy everyone!

My entire childhood was basically playing the first hour of this game, quitting, and replaying it over and over again.
This was a really well-made video. I appreciate the good editing and relevant visuals.
Thanks! I really enjoyed making this one back in the day
Epic video dude
Thank you! Glad you liked it
I can't believe this is like the fourth channel that trashed on my favorite rpg growing up.
This and Aiden's chronicles.... ugh great games I regret.
I mean I tried to be fair, I pointed out the good things as well as the bad things about it. I loved the beginning as a kid, but going back to it now after all these years shows that time has really not been kind to it. However, my opinions are my own! People can like & enjoy different things. Nothing I say diminishes your own experiences with it.
@@RobNoireGaming (: I refuse to replay these games because my memories of them.
If a game comes out with similar mechanics to quest 64 though... or glover... I'll rebuy and still regret it. They were so fun but watching them now they look awful. But that's probably me using today's standards on genres that came much farther much faster :)
Fire raised your staff and was very good too imo
Wind was useless lol
The jules looked like emojis lol 😳
I like that game a lot, I know it's weird, I am weird, I feel attracted to weird things people included, I was a lonely kid with almost no friends, had nothing to do but play that game, I felt rewarded putting effort on that time when there was no Internet, I did not speak English back then, going to a cave maze and getting out and being rewarded with new maps, new monsters, new music, and new and more weirdness. I wanted the character to jump or do stuff like Mario or Zelda games, but I was ok, the challenge was an adventure, nowadays I still like the game a lot and I realize the 4 elements and the music have real pagan roots. Some music are actually real soundtracks like Green Sleeves, and the 4 elements are Celtic, Wicca or any other Pagan religion based, like the four cardinal points map point and its relation to the elements. The stick that Brian carries has also a deep meaning, also the alchemy theme and such but it can be interpreted if you have some knowledge of the alchemy/esoteric topic. My favorite part was getting outside of the blue cave to find a hut with a colored ambiance on the most unexpected place, and inside was an old mage with a flying creature which led you to a portal room, the concept was interesting but probably it was not very well received as there was a huge hype on Mario or Zelda games.
