Mali, what a pleasure it has been to experience a little of your joy in that wood at dawn. You always bring an incredible enthusiasm to your videos and watching them is an immense pleasure - keep going and try to remain upright.
I'm happy to see you use the 'S' word in relation to landscape photgraphy. For me that's exactly what it is - spiritual. I see some photographers on utube get emotional & struggle to find words to express themselves, but they can't bring themselves to say "spiritual". Just spit it out & get on with it!!! 😂 🦄🦄🦄
It all depends on your own point of view but you cannot deny nature has a profound affect on us on humans and all living things. Thank you so much for watching sorry for the lack of unicorns 🦄 😁👍
Always great to see you out and about (virtually anyway). I’ve never once regretted going out but I do most often if I stay in bed. We are made to be in nature, it is there our senses come alive, and we can put a negative world in perspective. Thanks for sharing with us Mali! Great images as always.
I can well understand why you called this video "It's Spiritual" Mali! That light was just astounding! Also can I just say that I love the names you come up with for your photographs. Truly inspirational!
Probably one of the best videos I've seen on here , it got me feeling very insignificant against the power of mother nature. Would love to experience this . BRILLIANT. Andy.
Hard not to feel a spiritual emotion with those conditions Mali and what a great collection of images at the end. Look forward to getting a copy of your second book when it's published too
Not being a particularly religious person, I've always had a spiritual awareness in chaotic Woodland, especially in Mist. Lovely video again this week, Mali
I missed the Unicorn, but I did see the sad little girl with the bobbed hair, turned up nose, sad eyes and downward turned mouth. @8.33 tad down from your wrist! Great shots Mali, A helping hand, Komorebi and The Gamblers my top 3. "And into the forest I go to lose my mind and find my soul". I think John Muir wrote that. But it suits you Sir.
Hello Maureen, thank you very much for the kind words and watching. I’ve not a clue where the names come from, just looking at the scene and they pop in my head, sometimes at the time of shooting they look like something to me. Take care 😍👍
Wow that was a good morning Mali, it must be wonderful to have local mist like that! the only mist we get around here are from the fire mans hose pipes trying to put burning tyres out that people have started fires with! those sun beams were some of the best I have seen on here for a long time, well done and thanks for showing them to us....
Some gorgeous images there Mali, as usual. Rare to see someone referring to Hundertwasser, shows a great depth of understanding of style and design... Great stuff, cheers, Robert.
Hi mate. As you know, I've never been a fan of woodland photography. It all looked too chaotic. But something clicked watching this video and listening to your narrative where you (unintentionally?) slipped in a couple of 'techniques'. Then, panning around and showing the layers created by mist, low light and some silhouettes, it has inspired me to have another crack. So thanks again. I'm off for a swim now. Take care. 😀
Beautiful soft smooth light making beautiful images, Mali. Your video was quite thought provoking and calming too. I was surprised to see one image called Hundertwasser! Several images I adored! I think you’re one of the few content makers providing titles for your pics, and they suited them very well too. Looking forward to your next video. Regards from Oz!
Another great video Mali. You certainly deserved to get those conditions for getting up so early. The conditions were epic. You captured some awesome image's. Look forward to the next one mate.
Live days like that, Mali. Rinse repeat rinse repeat that’s my approach, the more time I spend in a wood and persevere with the conditions the more I get out of it. Great images and great vid pal
Thank you Rich! I love your woodland and your bang on! Keep on keeping on! Nearly the same again on Sunday but didn’t quite happen. Take care bud and thanks again 👍
I call sunrays 'Heaven's Ladders' by the way - True spiritual blessings and Woodlands are probably a unique place to view them, apart from below the clouds on a large scale landscape. The central point of this video was breathtaking - My Sony does a decent 24mp job, but your Nikon may be all that extra dosh - At the end of the day I visit woodlands for the experience and my little camera (The Love of my Life - according to the wife) is in my pocket to record it. Actually sold my Nikon D500 because it was too bulky! Enjoy
I entered a 'Dancing Unicorn' image into the National Trust Photography Competition. A bluebell scene won, but the general public vote was for mine. Unfortunately my invite to the London showing didn't arrive until two days after the event. Typical, but who wants to go to the city any way, when there's Woodlands on your doorstep?
'Komorebi 木漏れ日 (pronounced kō-mō-leh-bē). Literally, “sunlight leaking through trees,” this word describes the beauty and wonder of rays of light . The mono version is my very favourite. The only downside is you were too late to capture that unicorn.

I couldn’t agree more. I’m. It religious, in terms of written word by men. But nature creates a temple, stirs the soul. Thanks so much for watching 😍👍

Will the wind ever remember. The names it has blown in the past?

Thanks Berny, it’s a great word. Haha and I’ve been back to find that unicorn 🦄
I know what you’re saying
Thanks for watching David, the woods and landscape is our temple, no words just feeling.
