Great shots Paul.
The sky was all over the place.
I liked the sunburst shots.
it really was but that was good
What amazing shots Paul. I visited the Callanish Stones in 2022 and loved it. I took similar layered shots on the drive there too. We are going back in October, so we are hoping for 2 weeks of drama. You certainly captured the place in all its glory. Brilliant!!
Them mountains are ace
Lovely moody shots of the stones ,what great weather, really enjoy these road trip videos of yours Paul 👍😁
The weather did play ball
You're not bad at all Paul. Beautiful shots.
Thanks 👍 ill take that
Plenty of keepers in there Paul, Cracking shots!!

Very impressive Paul. You made light of the conditions and came up with the goods yet again. Well done mate 📷👏🥇🥇

Have fun let me know how you get on
Great images loved the stones ones . A fantastic location
Glad you like them!
That was a good watch Paul, good to see what you did before I caught up with you but man that wind was strong, and the milky way! I was laid in bed looking out the window at it right above thinking I am literally 200 yards from the perfect milky way foreground, next thing I remember was my alarm going off, next time though for definite.
Next time i have to get up and get out
What a bloody great photographer you are, those images were some of the best I have seen. 😁👍
wow Duncan thank you
@PaulComptonPDphotography Thank you, it is always a great pleasure seeing your videos and the amazing work you put into getting some amazing photos. Thank you 😊
I just enjoy doing it
Some great images there again Paul. The Highlands and islands of Scotland are unquestionably my favourite photo location, so I'm quite jealous. I see you're using that funky tripod collar on your lens again. Assuming it's not an original item from the lens manufacturer, who makes it please?
I've recently switched from full frame Nikon to Fuji for the weight and size advantage. I sort of miss the big Nikons, but I'm getting accustomed to the dinky Fujis now. I'm using the recent sigma 10-18mm f2.8 and the sun stars that gives are pretty neat.
I have to say i luv the higlands and islands a lot
Great Images Paul, perhaps you would consider doing a video on your camper van, Cost, running costs, insurance,is it worth getting one etc.
Will do great idea yes.. I have one to rent if you ever fancy it
Top video Paul. I would love to join you on a photo walk at some point.
Absolutely, please do give me a shout.. paulcomptonpdphotography.co.uk
Enjoyed the video as usual Paul.
Definitely a bit windy, but as you would say, no pain no gain.
Absolutely stunning image's mate.
I found it difficult to pick my favourite to be honest.
Look forward to the next one.
Thanks 👍but did you pick one?
@@paulcomptonpdphotography The second sun star one.
2nd cool
cracking images of the stones, hint, carful on the roads around those parts you might encounter Callum Dan, in has Transit van :)
Callum Dan??
@@paulcomptonpdphotography Callum Dans transit van, a song by the Stornoway band Peat and Diesel, Google it, its a laugh
haha never heard of it but cool
Crackin' shots, although its like shooting fish in a barrel. You can't fail but get good photo's there. The receding hills pano's were particularly impressive. Tell me you went to Carloway Broch this time. Its no distance up the road and makes great shots next to the sea.
The only way to fail is bad weather but yer if you make the effort to get to these places its in the bag
With those conditions there can never be to many photos! Lol
thats true lol
use the 8-14mm lens for your sunstars
8 - 14 i dont have is it good
Brollies in Scotland are useless. Had two dun in at john a groats in two seconds. great day though.
Love to share a photo but can't dont know why.
i know the wind can whip them off
