1. of course there is a lot of respect for the irish team, from saffas. (amount of perceived "hostility" is directly proportional to the amount of respect. ie. the more "hostile", the more "respect" 😁)
2. there is no "hatred". what the irish media and some fans perceive as "hatred" is actually just pure competitiveness. id actually even go so far as to say that if we didnt have such a high opinion of the irish, there wouldnt be so much hype.
3. the media (in this case mainly supersport/multichoice) make ads to hype up the tests. this might be a new thing for the irish, but this is pretty standard stuff for us. whenever a series or good/anticipated game comes up, the ad companies like to spice it up to create hype. yes, we're hyped for these games, but the promos and "spice" stuff is all mostly media hype not to be "blamed" on the boks or fans.
4. yes, ireland have "had our number" the last bunch of games...but all those games were played in ireland/not in sa. so how about we play the next 5 games (3 after this series) in sa? then we revisit this "record" and see where things stand 😉
5. oh...and this time we have someone who can actually kick. lets see what the scores look like with a kicker 😉

They Irish beat them in Cape Town .
I do think Ireland is going into this one flat. I feel we are at the end of a cycle for now, and South Africa will be gunning for us after all of the defeats handed to them .
Don't worry about the noise , we know that is because South Africa doesn't take too well to a team like Ireland getting results against ye, and we are used to the shots fired by now.
