Lee is the reason I stopped getting picked on at school. I was obsessed with his mannerisms and impressions and would do them and people found me so funny, they left me alone. Biggest regret is that I never got to see him live before he retired though I am glad he retired at his own volition
Lee Evans is such a legend, he was top dog for years. He invented comedians doing arena tours because he was so popular. When I was 12 I had a stroke and was in hospital for 3 months and me and the nurses used to watch Lee Evans DVDs constantly. Michael Mcintyre is also fantastic.
