I use the same sprayer for keeping watercolors wet in the palette! I am getting excited about my pastel works so I am looking for a fixative that will NOT darken my paintings! I know if you use a good sanded paper you should NOT need a fixative, but I worry so thanks for this review and demonstration!

Isopropyl alcohol is lighter than water, i bet the the spectrafix concentrate is heavier than water, but you compensated for that anyway if you added 8 times the amount in weight of alcohol... I think that's right lol. Thanks for the informative video I've been wanting to try this.

Glad you found it helpful Custard! I would recommend the normal bottle of the Spectrafix Degas Fixative over the concentrate. I use the regular Degas Fixative on a weekly basis with my pastel work.
If you're interested in the concentrate, I have a link in the description for the official concentrate mixing guide according to Spectrafix.

Thanks for the feedback S.K. I've bought a mic stand and pop filter since this video and I think the audio has improved a bit.
