I love the quinn videos, he goes into more detail even about the little things. The one thing you didnt do on the exhaust is the fist test
Just bothers me he uses a ratchet instead of an impact gun to do this whole job. Could’ve been done in half the amount of time lol.
IMO single exit would’ve looked nicer! To each their own!
lancers have single exits, when you drive an evo you dont want to look or sound like any other lancer

HKS makes such a good system.....doesn't drone, not crazy loud but nicely amplifies the "good" noises of the engine. HKS and Invidia are my two favorite companies for exhausts
HKS Legamax Premium exhaust is perfect !
One of my choices for a daily is a Lancer EX. *Cant afford the Evo one tho. But since we live near an active volcano, a pickup truck is the best choice for the daily. I really enjoy this Sweepstakes series since I’m a big fan of the Lancer Platform

It's not loud it's just a little deeper and has a bit more rumble. It definitely needs a hks blow off valve though
they need to replace that front pipe as well. It's seen better days.

The canted look of the mufflers and tips is such a nice touch. The sound is way better too. You get a sweet combo of high and low notes with a proper amount of burble during revs. Perfect choice!
Does the Evo have a tow hook on the other side as well, or does the HKS kit require you to remove all the proper towing hardware on the back of the car? 😁
Just the one side on the rear if I remember correct, it’s been months since I have been under mine
When I put the HKS hi power dual on my evo x I didnt have to take any of the tow hooks
This tripped me out. To me, it doesn't seem any more loud yet it still sounds so much better. Weird.

For a good test the evo x gsr has a factory launch control/ two step, hold the glutch in and mash the gas while stoped and it will bang off 5.5k rpm

The reason why the WOT and in car normal driving clips sound different is the stock Evo X muffler has spring loaded flaps that will 'bypass' the muffler on WOT. It's a neat little trick to look stock but get better airflow by opening the muffler seam, removing the flappers, and re-welding the muffler seam back up.
You should do a short video showing that off.
Full respect to Quinn on this one so good giving tips and tricks and doing a superb job on the exhaust *round of applause* 👏♥️💪

Well i replaced the exhausting system on my Toyota Aygo 08' with a more sporty one, even though it's a 1.0 engine the exhaust still make pops 👌😆

If you wanted the same effect keep the stock muffler and do a cat delete and save money. Back to what I said…ets makes the best exhausts for the Evo X.
