I half expected Indrid Cold and The Mothman to turn up at one point. Nearly all of the famous conspiracies made an appearance in this season. Funny stuff though.
They show us the truth in movies and series. The first half of AHS with the vampires is about the adrenochrome and the 2nd half was about the aliens that are really here

Yeah a dude that was assassinated by the US government named Phil Schneider talked about Valiant Thor. American horror story definitely looked at these stories from our central intelligence at a surface level, but Valiant Thor was nothing like this that's for sure. Apparently he was a literal extraterrestrial that looked like a young dude who had an iq that was immeasurable. He's no longer in our governments though according to sources I've read. He basically said 'I've done what I need to do' and left. All this is speculation, but I'm at least inclined to believe Phil simply because his supposed 'suicide' is proof of his legitimacy in my mind.

The writing of the last few seasons were very poor. I can understand that it‘s difficult to write the 10th season as good as the first ones but it‘s certainly possible. You can just recycle and reuse good pieces from the past as Ryan Murphy did with „Ratched“. But the first story in Season 10 looked like Ryan was having a Gwen Stefani „What You Waiting For“ music video kind of moment and it‘s certainly not a good look.
It's a mistake to mix fiction with facts. The only reason to do so is alter real events in the minds of the public. If there are facts, I'd enjoy learning about them. Otherwise, leave creative stories about unproven occasions out of YT.
The show is fiction though and not meant to be seen as a history show, countless movies and shows mix facts and fiction.
Even those “based on a true story” films tend not to be 100% accurate.
@@RYMAN1321 I believe the UFO/Alien topic is so important and so serious that there's no room for mixing fictitious material with real events. Fire in the Sky is a perfect example. By changing the circumstances of Travis Walton's abduction instead of a correct accounting of events, it was made into a horror movie.

Mixing reality with fiction is subversive and misleading... and possibly, intentionally so. There have been enough movies about the Kennedy assignation and variations on the story that no one knows what to believe.
And, simply because there mention in the advertising someplace saying it's "based on a true story" doesn't mean everyone saw the admonishment, or took it to heart. Truth is not censorship.

Even AHS has “the story and characters are fiction” in the credits so it’s basically telling people not to take it seriously as a history show. No one should think of AHS as some history or bio show.
It’s a different story when it comes to something such as “Million Little Pieces” when the author James Frey marketed it as a memoir about his life struggling with addiction but it was then later discovered he exaggerated and embellished key details in the book. He even admitted to it.
I will agree however that even those that say “based on a true story” tend to take liberties and not be 100% truthful but that’s always been the case.

@@HologramJones Bottom line is it’s still fiction (even the end credits of AHS say “The story and characters are fiction.”), same with X-Files. Countless works of fiction have incorporated real life stories and people but never are they meant to be actual biographies / history stories. LOL

The time when it’s *not* okay though is if one is presenting it as factual story and a bio etc when it’s really not.
