@@tuliusy2k I have watched some vids of Tom doing Queen stuff with the M/D and I was indeed blown away. I never realized his voice was as amazing as Freds. I mean I'm sure can't hit the high high ones, but damn good!

In fact, I could never stopped and listen to Kean, but since that day just found that record with M/D, started to pay a little bit more attention to Keane. Tom is GREAT, DEBBIE!!

The song that got me into Keane in 2006 "Is it Any Wonder?" sounds wonderful in this acoustic version.

When I first heard "The Way I feel", I thought it was a departure from the band's piano driven sound (similar to what I thought about "Is it any wonder" when it released) - but now that I hear this version, it offers a glimpse of the song's embryonic form - the form in which Tim Rice-Oxley conceived it. It does not cease to amaze me how Tom does not go out of breath on "Love too much". I don't think I had an appreciation for that when I heard this song for the first time last night at Keane's performance at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City. Incidentally, I met these guys for the first time last night after their performance. They are incredibly humble for musicians with their pedigree - and so forthcoming with answering questions posed to them. Looking forward to "Cause And Effect'. It cannot arrive soon enough!

@@ionamuniz9481 This was a dream and I did not know it was going to happen. It was orchestrated by one of the person that runs the North American Keane fanclub. She knew we featured music from ALL their albums on our radio broadcast (we're an online music radio station - the link is in our profile) and so it seemed fitting that I'd meet them. Jesse answered rather pointed questions about time in the studio. Richard was super apologetic about what a pain getting tickets for that show were. Tim is humility personified. Tom still has the demeanor of a guy for whom stardom is a distant dream even though he is already is a proper popstar.

So Tom has one of the best voices in music today, the time he’s had away from music to recover and repair himself has done him the world of good. So glad Keane are back to delight us with their incredible music and proof that you don’t need a ton of jamming guitars to make the best sounds!

Tom's vocal control even with jeg-lag is sublime. The honesty and passion he feels about every word shows and you can hear it too. This band are pushing the envelope as hard as ever, quite wonderful all-round, and Tim's new songs are so powerfully moving. I hope you are enjoying yourselves chaps and having a nice time.
It is absolutely wonderful to see Tom healthy and happy again. I saw them many years ago and it was clear he wasn’t well. Although, divorce and other life tragedies can make things difficult, they tend to fuel the art and the artist. I’m hoping this album does well for them. They truly deserve it ❤️
