For a video without a single spoken word, it tells a far better story and has superior scenery than the last three Disney Star Wars movies I watched. Thanks Erik.
Lying down in my bed. Waiting for the sleep to embrace me while watching this beauteous and bounteous nature. That's peace. Erik deserves all the respect for taking us with him on the soulful journies. Much appreciated 💫
Gracias Erik! Me encanta tu forma tan sencilla de mostrar la conexión del hombre con la naturaleza. Solo permanecer ahi, sin alterarla, sin contaminarla. Disfutar de una taza de cafe, un buen fuego y el silencio...
Here in the Oak woodland habitat of Northern California I sometimes sit for an hour or so by myself and watch nature in all it’s glory. It’ possible to see ravens, hawks, deer, bobcats, and if you’re lucky even mountain lions. I make coffee too, not cowboy coffee like Erik, but pour over using a filter and gear from the Japanese company Soto. Even in a highly populated state like California it is possible to get off by yourself for a while luckily.
So it's snowing heavily up your way again huh? Lovely 🥰 More beautiful videos of your peaceful little fires and mug of coffee. God bless you and your family Erik. Thanks for these little escapes for us. Trudi. Australia. 🐞🇭🇲
Hey Erik, Coming from a place which gets barely any snow, I rlly appreciate your videos! The quality of the sound is spectacular and the cinematography is beautiful! Keep up the great work! Thanks, Micah
Hiker watching bushcrafters video on the hiking trail. Right now on Dir Gol Terichmir Basecamp heading towards Arkari valley and enjoying this video under snowfall in a mountain cave!
Almost time for skis or snowshoes! I have a "camp axe" like yours with a 50 cm. hickory handle. It's the Council Tool "Wood Craft" model and very well made with a tempered poll that will not mushroom when pounding steel tent stakes (or a steel splitting wedge). My woodburning stove is a Trail Designs titanium Caldera Cone with"Inferno" gassifier insert and because of that insert it recirculates unburned gasses and thus burns extremely hot. The ashes are usually completely white. I use it to melt snow when winter camping to save petrol with my MSR stove. The nice thing about the Trail Designs Sidewinder and larger Tri-Ti stoves is that they roll up and fit in a sock for easy packing. But they are not inexpensive!
I can watch a million of your speechless thumbs up shorts, and be more content... than to watch a two hour movie 🎥 of 10 A list actors play in a fake blockbuster wack ass shoot em up/ all noise and hot air. You make the best presentations without even uttering a single word, it’s simplicity is more grandeur. Birds 🦅 chirping, 50 foot 🦶🏾 spiders 🕷 in the thick of winter... pissed snow coffee/or tea that I bet tastes better than these franchised dirt they call coffee.. each sound captures with precision... really these big movie directors need to reach out to you and have at your ideas... guaranteed a packed house even in covid.. lines around the corner... as folks eagerly wait to catch but a glimpse of your masterpieces. Thank you sir for sharing and reminding to get out more even in the harshest conditions.., there’s life.... you give life dear sir... you inspire.
Atmospheric and uncontrived video, as always, Erik. When I'm trying to vent a fire into life, I place thumb and forefinger together on both hands then put them tip to tip to form a diamond-shaped space. Place against the mouth and blow. It gives a focused jet of air into the heart of the fire.
good hint, thanks James. i mostly take something with me working as a solid fan in my hand ( saves my energy). any solid dead-tree bark fan might be working for some time as well. cheers
Well done Erik, you captured the new wet snow in the woods of late autumn so beautifully. Too soft to ski and yet it is a pleasure to be out watching the change to winters cold and icy grip, EXCELLENT!
The stark ice scene, the warm golden fire, the stirring of the heart as the moment of drinking the brew and the revival of spirit and strength comes in the quickening of the drum beats. Excellent.
The Sunday is not the same without at Video from you Erik.It was a little bit strange watching the las Video on Tuesday and even the holy Moment is not the same.Today everything is in Order. An the holy Moment is a holy Moment and ma Coffee taste better when I am watching your Videos on Sunday. Thanks and stay safe.
Thanks for the first season winter trip, Erik. I have heard the call of a great spotted woodpecker? " buntspecht " in german, any hunters shots, seen broken pine branch remaining wound forms an outline / wooden picture of a fire flame. Beautiful and cold winter forest , refreshing forest air far away from fossil- burning traffic, filling the lungs. Ahhhhh! So good. Thumbs up and thank you for your efforts. Cheers.
I love the raven. I once found a whole colony of them close to where I was camped. Most unusual. They were probably a family group I suppose. You usually only see them in pairs. Noel
Coffee and snow shoes. Thanks E

Erik deserves all the respect for taking us with him on the soulful journies. Much appreciated 💫
I was never too much into nature, but something about these snowy forests is just so calming. I hope that someday I can camp like this too.
I hope for a real winter this year in Sweden. Last year was just terrible! Rain and fog all the way. Lets hope for snow!
Welcome back, mother winter! ☺️
Sitting near London in the grey and rain having a coffee. This is so nice to watch during lockdown! Keep them coming Erik!!! 👍

You canni beat a wee brew out in the wilderness! Love your vids. Hoping for plenty snow this winter.
I love the crows! Thanks for the snowy wonderland adventure. It reminded me of Narnia. A delightful tea in the woods ☕️💡👍
Ahhh, reminds me of my deer hunts. No fire, just piping hot coffee from a thermos.
Snow, fire, ravens and Erik, a perfect combination!
Nice to finally see some snow.

I like to play with snow in winter it's too cold but it's fun i like it
So glad I learned to not be afraid of camping in the snow. Thanks for the encouragement Erik.
Let your skills do the talking. Nice. 👍🏻 Another lovely video! (I love this time of year...)
Meraviglia! Grazie Erik.
Winterwonderland....i love it😊
Greate climat👍
Hello Erik, thank you for sharing another one of your fine outdoor adventures. All the best to you. 🤗
Beautiful snow landscape, warmth and gratitude of a glass of warm water :)
You’re one of the few outdoors channels that use matches. I’m a match guy, lighters and ferro rods are a backup.
Yes I like matches, they are simple to use!
This is a wonderful place!
Another gift from Erik Normark! And the soundtrack was amazing, sort of darkly optimistic. Need I say more? Thank you!
Another sublime video. Love the fact that you don’t narrate your video’s, the photography and sounds of nature tell the story 👍🏼
Winter has come early for you guys in Sweden it looks beautiful
The stark ice scene, the warm golden fire, the stirring of the heart as the moment of drinking the brew and the revival of spirit and strength comes in the quickening of the drum beats. Excellent.
Another great video Eric, thank you for sharing it. All the best of good things for you. Take care. 🤗
Coming from a country that gets little or no snow , it’s hard to believe you’ve got so much this early in the season
Spectacular snowy scenes. Wonderful atmosphere and soundscape, greatly appreciated.
thank you for posting 👍
Nice.
You have snow! Snow and a raven. Which is he? Thought, or Memory?
Be well, stay safe and take good care.
Stunning, as always!
