What is the point of replacing the original stainless steel silencer with a stainless steel silencer with almost the same weight, the same size and above all a not very different noise? Can we at least dismantle the db killer?
I agree 100% . My previous tiger 2019 if you remove the slip on even with the cat it would make an insane sportish sound . The new ones we need to come up with a full exhaust .
Would be great to hear it without the baffle in. Definitely looks better than the stock and sounds great too.

I’m not a fan of aftermarket exhausts see so many that just don’t look right in fact saw one UA-camr who changed it about 5 times. There are several current bikes with really hideous exhausts you’d need to change. However, that one looks good and really suits the bike.
My son has a very similar can to this, after about 15 months, where the bracket is welded to the can the paint started to flake away. Unfortunately out of warranty… a lovely sound though.

Sadly it sounds kinda weak. At idle it sounds a little better, but this makes it sound like the 900 under throttle
It's never easy to record a true sound. Yes it's not as loud as some, but now I've put 5000km through it, it's nicely bedded in. To be honest, living in Germany where the laws are fairly strict on noise, it won't cause me any issue with the police.
Jeez all that and you kept the baffle in?
It's illegal to remove them here in Germany, and I've been caught before, 3 points with a nice 280€ fine.....no thanks!

I'm assuming it saves a little weight. My understanding is that these days an end can makes little difference to the sound in view of all the sound deadening boxes, etc, before it reaches the end can. I presume it also has to meet the same Euro noise standards as the original. And then you go and cover up its looks with panniers! 😱😜
Was mearly sowing for those that are interested, that the exhaust is compatible with panniers🤷♂️
