    My wife and I were fortunate to be in Carver Hawkeye Arena when Caitlin hit the shot at the buzzer to beat Indiana in 2023. It was such a Caitlin moment. The crowd was so loud when the shot went down, and Caitlin, ever the show person, ran around the arena pumping up the fans. That may be my favorite moment of her college career, though the 41 point triple double against Louisville is right up there.

    My favorite Caitlin moment is when the team was in the gym during Olympic break doing their team building competitions and CC and AB got into playful sparring after CC had of course won some part of it. CC, forever the competitor, was really razzing AB, wagging and jumping at her, and AB was grabbing at her hands telling her to "put that finger down!" I don't have a favorite moment. They were all special. My favorite thing about Caitlin was her ability to play through the pressure and noise. It seemed every year, and eventually every game they found new levels of pressure to apply to her - and she rose above them all. She never once in her 4 years folded under pressure. I have never seen a player have that much on her shoulders, and she always came out the other side of it smiling - win or lose.

When my daughters and friends went to a Fever and Sky home game, not one single CC or AR fan was talking crap or putting down any player. We cheered for great plays on both teams so these trolls online are causing all this rivalry crap. Why can't they all just let them play ball? Thank you again Quita for your appreciation of CC. She is single-handedly changing the entire style of play in the WNBA. She has already likely retired Diana Taurasi, and other old players will follow. They cannot keep up with her. Period. Go watch Unrivaled, where they're gassed and dying after three quarters of running semi-hard. In fact, CC's impact as a rookie was BIGGER than that of Michael Jordan on the NBA. The NBA was already successflu and thriving whe nMJ arrived. Caitlin has saved the WNBA. People are watching and discussing it now. Even YOU. Guarantee, you were doing neither before 2024. Such a great tribute!!! Thank you!! As someone who has loved women's basketball for 60 years and followed it on the media since it was available on TV (remember when only the semi-finals and finals of the NCAA tournament were televised [long before cable TV]?), for me Caitlin Clark is truly a unique player. Of course, there have been many, many great players who have been in the NCAA over the years, including those that I have seen in person (for example, I was there in Missoula, MT for the regionals, and saw that part of Texas Tech's and Sheryl Swoopes' run to the Final Four [which they won and she was amazing, so I admit I was very disappointed in her negative commentary on Caitlin over the last year], and I watched the phenomenal Lisa Leslie for all of her 4 years in college [playing against my then-favorite Pac-10 team]). So, I have watched many, many great, talented players over the years, but, to me, Caitlin Clark, like no other, has taken the women's game to another level through her skill, dedication, and hard work (and humility), bringing new eyes to what has always been a great sports experience. Her shooting and passing are amazing!!! They are thrilling to watch!

    Another well done video. Are you sure you haven't worked for ESPN? You really deserve to have your own sports show on a major platform. I love how none of your videos come off as half-baked. The amount of research that goes into your videos is amazing as well as how it is displayed on screen. If it's not too much trouble could you edit Princess and Mr. President into more of your videos. 🐕🐕 Thanks. 😁

    Big day at Carver tomorrow. 1st we get to see our Hawkeyes take on JuJu Watkins & USC. That would be a tough game under any circumstances. With a packed house, Caitlin and many of her team mates in the house, as well as lots of luminaries & press, the place will rock!

    Quita, this may get you disinvited to "The Cookout", but we will always appreciate you speaking objective facts.
    The only "privilege" that Caitlin Clark has is her work ethic. She just flat outballs everybody else in her realm.

    Her college career may be coming to a close, but there is much, much more to come. Caitlin likely has not even hit her stride yet in the W and may not peak for another two or three years. Her genius level BB IQ may also serve to make her a great coach, either in college or the W. In terms of BB, CC is the gift that keeps on giving.

    Even those of us who don't give a dayum about Iowa must acknowledge CC accomplishments. Though she has never been a champion on any level, her greatness is unquestioned, reflected in the myriad awards she's received and records she's broken. While I've long thought any GOAT proclamations were premature, CC is more than deserving of this honor.

      Actually, she won three FIBA chips and an MVP in 2021. If we count Olympic medals when talking about Aja and Stewie, then we have to count FIBA, too. It is the world stage. We dont diminish Allen Iverson for never winning a chip. Or Stockton. Or Malone. Or Ewing. I credit Iverson more than KD. Iverson took a so-so team to the Finals even though they lost. Thats what CC did. KD rode unopposed to 2 easy rings. Gimme Iverson any day. Just my opinion.

      @@petep5207I might throw in the name of Dave Bing (of Spingarn H.S., Washington, D.C.) on both the 50th and 75th NBA anniversary teams who never got to the final four with Syracuse in the NCAA or to the NBA Finals with the Detroit Pistons or Washington Bullets (he played in-between the 1975 and 1978 Bullets finals teams).

    • @petep5207

      @ - THANK YOU. I just hate the hypocrisy. College rings only became a talking point when Caitlin broke the NCAA scoring record. The goalposts were moved. People wanna count Angel's AAU title, but not CC's FIBA titles. Nauseating. But then I ask people who their NBA GOAT is. They say MJ. I counter with, "How can that be? KAREEM is clearly the GOAT. He has 4 NCAA titles to MJ's one... and the same number of NBA titles". KAREEM even has more MVPs, 6 t oMJ's 5....if we're getting even more technical. That's when the goalposts move again.

    Prior to 2024, I knew next to nothing about women's basketball, except for Lauren Jackson, the three-times WNBA MVP and a fellow Australian.
    Now I am an avid follower of women's basketball and I can name you off the top of my head:
    * The McDonald's All American High School Girls rosters along with the College they are headed to.
    * The starting line-ups of all the major Women's College teams
    * All WNBA team rosters.
    All because of Caitlin Clark, I kid you not.
