- I don't know why I thought this was a good idea but I am very happy that I done this.
I managed to break this game again with just the biggest pile of ores that the game would allow... pretty sure my PC hates me now though.

DF and Let's Game It Out are the reason Hydroneer developers nerfed everything
it might help to start with a pit thats shallow and about the size you want the base of the gold mountain. it would keep things from spreading out too much, at least to begin with, and you could always add dirt around the outside piled upwards to keep it nice and tight and moving upwards. It may or may not result in a taller pile, but in theory it should. With this game though, who knows
Nah. He's running into problems with heap physics. It's always going to be much wider than it is tall, unless you have something constraining it, and a pit will only constrain it he reaches the lip, at which point it will start spreading out again.

Hey DF, would suggest splitting the dirt to multiple grinders, this cause less clogging and more autonomous
You could do an auto magnet in the electric store, and build a magnet to turn it on and off on a timer so you can go afk without it jamming
DF should definitely try satisfactory, fits him so well
If you dig a small depth to create a base so the material can't bounce as far in the beginning it might help fix the issue of width over height.
Also DF if you read the comment all you need is 2 to 3 pickaxe swings deep.

For someone who likes to play idle/grindy games but never has the patience to actually play them, you're the perfect channel for me. Please continue your conquest to quench our thirst for meaningless grinding on meaningless games :)
The game is extremely fun, been playing it since the really early versions, even if I didn't get to play after the overhaul update any. However, a little tip that might things more fun is that any resources that go into a container (eg: bucket or crucible) get "stuck" in it, so the whole thing counts as just one object for physics calculation (unless you spill the contents), so a bucket with a million chunks of gold for example counts as just one item, so by just dumping everything into containers, you can collect a stupid amount of chunks/resources without killing the framerate!
only DF can make rocks entertaining

Conveyor filter without any filter set works like a flipflop, it sends stuff one way, then next item the other way, and so on,
and you need to make sure resources are centered on conveyor before they reach filters.
Also there's a magnet that you can wire up!

I think the problem is you are not using centralized tracks and not giving the resources a long enough track to roll through. I have found that using the central tracks tends to make operations a bit easier because nothing catches on the sides or corners and it helps to push things through neatly say like through sorters and or dirt crushers.
I had a great day, I just went to a concert and your video just made my day even better
Need a mod that adds a pulsating magnet that can work on it's own. Then he can have even more output.

Use a splitter to have half the dirt dropped into an incinerator, that should help prevent clogs.
You could build a box out of window tiles so it can only get so wide and can only expand upward

DF, I know you might have fixed this later on in the video, but theres a way to "melt" the gems. You should have attached a compressor, which can compress a large amount of gems into ~4, one for each type
I've found that you don't need to use the funnels - they're just an extra point of possible blockage and an unnecessary one as the ore falls straight into the auto smelters from the belts without any hassle.
Keep on putting out amazingly entertaining and super funny content, DF! Btw ur one of my favorite UA-camrs

Hey DF, use windows to create a "barrier" to limit your gold pile from getting so wide
If you want that height you'll need to make a big box out of windows for a Scrooge Mcduck style money bank, then you can save, reload, delete all the windows and have a huge cube of resources! XD
Belt centerer or belt aligners something like that will help with resources catching on the sides of belts.
I feel like it might help if the conveyor was pointed directly away from the devices, so the chunks begin moving away instantly.

maybe grab one of the centering devices that goes on the belts would prevent the jam ups at the sorters.
oh btw you can stop blockages by 1. not using funnels 2.Using 3 (maybe 2) God shredders instead of 1 i havent had a blockage while i let it run for 15 mins also use the item straightners after the shredders and after every turn or spitter, it seems to stop items getting stuck on the edge of conveyers my design for these is quite compact too and one more thing if you leave splitters/filters empty it will 1:1 divide so you can use it to split your harvesters dirt then have it go into shredders then straights and turns and item straightners into one line then another item straightner then you could do your sorting system
What you probably could do if you wanted more height is dig a giant hole with under the drills, and then when you were satisfied you could just dig around it until there was room to stand and admire it.
With the perspective being so close to the ground, I can only guess that you're playing as the stereotypical diggy dwarf... and DF is already headed to the deepest dark of Moria.
If you want to fix the jam you have to use the conveyer that centers everything.
If dangerously funny and lets game it out do a collab they will break the fabric of space and time

Maybe if you built a structure around where it falls you can restrict how wide it gets so it just gets taller
idea. sorters that sort only gold, and everything else goes to the other side of the map via teleporter. then all gold goes into teleporter to fill up huge cylinder of windows

Little fun fact that Hydro near to consolidate memory and ultimately prevent lag when too many ores are out and on the ground the game freezes them basically meaning it registers them as solid and thus saving the game a lot in processing
Physics engine don’t come esey especially once a basic one likes to make the truck go in circles referencing blitz

Make a low dirt wall around the mountain so it doesn't go as wide but isn't too restricted

fun fact you can do this irl if you can get to the core
the problem is you are trying to make it on line...you need to get some splitters and have 2 or 3 outputs....and you are trying to drop the grinders out put on to one belt....make the grinder a little higher and have it opening drop on to a 5x5 grid on belts that funnel to 2 or 3 output lines
if the would ever gets taken over by AI they going after DF first just off how many computes he blew up.... gotta take out the most threating humans first lol

DF you should play Miner's haven (Roblox game). I know it's kinda odd for you to play a roblox game but I think it'd be a very fitting game for you to play. It's a very similar game to this.
