The vibe I get from this reminds me of times where I had to go outside because my head felt like it was gonna explode if I stayed inside any longer.

Yeah, it's kind of like a dream space, not dream as in ideal, but dream as in, if you were sleeping and you dreamt of a city, you'd probably see something like that. Actually I think I might have.

Well that's originally what "liminal spaces" were, it wasn't supposed to be spooky, just "different" from what we're normally used to
Places like a gas station at night or an empty school in the afternoon were some of the most frequently referenced liminal spaces and those are ultra comfy to me

Every single element of this piece, from the animation to the photo selection to the editing to the color pallette to the character design to the song choice, all work together here spectacularly. It's a little difficult to put into words, but this is the kind of existence that I yearn for.

The little animation is beautiful to me because of its not-so-state-of-the-art graphics. The way the character looks, the backdrops, the music, and the whole theme of it all, remind me of the old videos I used to watch online when I was a kid. Nostalgia can do something to you I guess, maybe I'm just getting too in-depth on a forty-second UA-cam video.

it was all actually shape keys, i never tried to rig face because WOW that looks annoying as hell
