For having the statues as a protagonist chapter I tend to find them more interesting than the Ultramarines. Despite overcoming some insane odds they still come across as flawed, unlike the ultramairnes and their never ending perfect streak.
Actually the reason why the blood Ravens were able to get away with the events of dark crusade was because 1they did technically liberate the planet from all enemies of the imperium and 2 technically the only people that outrank space Marines are the high Lords of Terra or people acting with their direct authority so you could argue that the imperial guard should have listen to them.
I really hope that one day a DoW4 does show up, but keeping more in line with the 1st game's gamestyle, with the 2nd game's style. Also, "The Raven Guard EXPLAINED By An Australian" please!
their biggest sin i think was the wiping out of 1st Kronus Regiment, to save a dodgy secret. The secret turned out to be so damning that the BR captain Thule destroyed it afterwards.
Fun facts: If i recognized the "raven" in the thumbnail correctly i can tell you that its not a raven, nor a crow nor anything else like that, its a completley unrelated bird that has just addabted in the same way in pretty much every way
For as much as I came to love the Custodes, the Sisters of Battle and above all, the Navis Imperialis.... the Blood Ravens will always be pretty awesome no matter what future lore may have for them. It was DoW that really got me into 40k in the first place. 40k had been something neat for years before that, but wasn't something I really paid attention to prior to Dawn of War. random thought: To go along with the idea that they are indeed a loyalist chapter from a traitorous legion, I personally think that their name is a 2 fold distraction, by invoking thoughts of precisely who is named in this video, the Blood Angels and the Raven Guard. Just imagine how many people would be drawn into looking down those two routes simply from their name. btw, it is not stealing, it is saving & rescuing :P
Azariah Kyras is one of the coolest people in 40k. His speech was incredible “Faithful. Enlightened. Ambitious. Brethren. In but a single decade, a few mere swipes of the pendulum. We have gathered a sacrifice to Khorne that will be made legend. Though it was a simpler, weaker voice that illuminated me during my centuries upon the Judgement of Carrion. It was Khorne’s messenger, who showed me the true path of freedom, from our pathetic corpse Emperor. And what is this path, this purpose, this meaning to which we gather the skulls of our foes? It is nothing,. There is no meaning. No purpose. We murder, we kill. It is mindless savagery. THIS UNIVERSE IS MINDLESS. In mere hours, billions will die. Innocent. Guilty. Strong and weak. Honest and deceitful. All of them. They will scream. They will burn. And for no purpose, but that might Khorne may revel in their blood shed. And United, in this void of purpose, fear or duty. We, shall at long last BE FREE. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD. SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE. LET, THE GALAXY BURNNN” Think that was it word for word

They had orders from their sagmentum command
0/10 man, like, wtf, no BOREALE, no DIOMEDES
Where are our Bold Brathas
The blood ravens are better thieves than trayzn simply because they actually succeeded in getting stuff from the salamanders
I really hope that one day a DoW4 does show up, but keeping more in line with the 1st game's gamestyle, with the 2nd game's style. Also, "The Raven Guard EXPLAINED By An Australian" please!
space-traveling, power-armor powered, steroid reinforced psychic magpies......warhammer is truly grim and dark XD
My god, can you imagine a chapter made of magpies?
Imagine a legion? The Space Yoinkers!
Majorkill: Releases video on Blood Ravens
Me: The time has come
BRUVA WE HAVE STOLEN THE ENEMY
What are you talking about, there are only two Dawn of War games plus some expansions.
6:13 Rogal's Fist was actually a mace
Makes sense the Orks got the Spear of Khaine, for the Blood Ravens stealing is a job, for the Orks, it's a way of life
What's funny is that the orks won't appreciate it's power and significance at all and as such it will function like a normal spear for them lol.
“A Nurgle demon called Eugh Eugh that oddly bears the resemblance of a puffer fish”
1:44 he got me on the first half not gonna lie
"Beware the alien, the heretic, the mutant and the Blood Raven"
I love the crazy loops the blood ravens jump through to claim things as theirs
their biggest sin i think was the wiping out of 1st Kronus Regiment, to save a dodgy secret. The secret turned out to be so damning that the BR captain Thule destroyed it afterwards.
Fun facts:
If i recognized the "raven" in the thumbnail correctly i can tell you that its not a raven, nor a crow nor anything else like that, its a completley unrelated bird that has just addabted in the same way in pretty much every way
Blod raven: that a nice warlor titan you have there...
Blood Ravens? BOLT DOWN EVERYTHING!!!!!
Never thought i'd get a Nuru suggestion on a 40k lore vid, lmao
" Hippity hoppity your artifice is my property. "

BROTHER, I'M PINNED HERE!
I love how the magpie fits the blood raven. As the 'mag' stands for magnus the red and the magpie sa the bird.
YEEEES FINALLY
Yes, that is my stealer chapter
BROTHER I AM PINED HERE!!
ARBEIT: You have been bolted down for attempted theft of this comment section.

>Steal priceless artefacts and relics from others in the name of "preserving knowledge"
Truly, the Blood Ravens are the most English of space marine chapters.
cum
I have always had my doubts about who had the most epic voice, Gabriel Angelos or the Narrator
Blood Ravens are the lost legion, however they stool all data from empire about them and their primarch.
