Azariah Kyras is one of the coolest people in 40k. His speech was incredible “Faithful. Enlightened. Ambitious. Brethren. In but a single decade, a few mere swipes of the pendulum. We have gathered a sacrifice to Khorne that will be made legend. Though it was a simpler, weaker voice that illuminated me during my centuries upon the Judgement of Carrion. It was Khorne’s messenger, who showed me the true path of freedom, from our pathetic corpse Emperor. And what is this path, this purpose, this meaning to which we gather the skulls of our foes? It is nothing,. There is no meaning. No purpose. We murder, we kill. It is mindless savagery. THIS UNIVERSE IS MINDLESS. In mere hours, billions will die. Innocent. Guilty. Strong and weak. Honest and deceitful. All of them. They will scream. They will burn. And for no purpose, but that might Khorne may revel in their blood shed. And United, in this void of purpose, fear or duty. We, shall at long last BE FREE. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD. SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE. LET, THE GALAXY BURNNN” Think that was it word for word
Fun facts: If i recognized the "raven" in the thumbnail correctly i can tell you that its not a raven, nor a crow nor anything else like that, its a completley unrelated bird that has just addabted in the same way in pretty much every way
For as much as I came to love the Custodes, the Sisters of Battle and above all, the Navis Imperialis.... the Blood Ravens will always be pretty awesome no matter what future lore may have for them. It was DoW that really got me into 40k in the first place. 40k had been something neat for years before that, but wasn't something I really paid attention to prior to Dawn of War. random thought: To go along with the idea that they are indeed a loyalist chapter from a traitorous legion, I personally think that their name is a 2 fold distraction, by invoking thoughts of precisely who is named in this video, the Blood Angels and the Raven Guard. Just imagine how many people would be drawn into looking down those two routes simply from their name. btw, it is not stealing, it is saving & rescuing :P
Space Marines 2 has me hooked so bad, I’ve only recently descended down the insane rabbit-hole of 40k lore so I know bits and pieces, I’m absolutely dying that my reason for watching this video was validated by 3:33 of the “stealing memes” being why I want to learn about Blood Ravens 😂😂
Also their collection of tainted artifacts is actually more impressive than that of the Relictors. They have a copy of the original Book of Lorgar manuscript, an athame, a stock of bolter shells with bloodthirsters bound into them and weirdest of all a suit of Alpha Legion Terminator armour.
DoW was my 1st time experiencing 40K but I've been able to find out much about the Blood Ravens until now, so I appreciate finding this 4 year old video.
their biggest sin i think was the wiping out of 1st Kronus Regiment, to save a dodgy secret. The secret turned out to be so damning that the BR captain Thule destroyed it afterwards.
>Steal priceless artefacts and relics from others in the name of "preserving knowledge" Truly, the Blood Ravens are the most English of space marine chapters.

Never thought i'd get a Nuru suggestion on a 40k lore vid, lmao
Bet this video is already claimed by them.
Gotta say these guys are my favorite chapter as they got me fully into 40k
Fun facts:
If i recognized the "raven" in the thumbnail correctly i can tell you that its not a raven, nor a crow nor anything else like that, its a completley unrelated bird that has just addabted in the same way in pretty much every way
I have always had my doubts about who had the most epic voice, Gabriel Angelos or the Narrator
The blood ravens are better thieves than trayzn simply because they actually succeeded in getting stuff from the salamanders
How long before they claim this video?
I'll give it about 30 minutes.
Already claimed, brother
Yes, that is my stealer chapter
I'd love to see the blood ravens go up against the thousand sons. Wonder if Magnus would recognize his own sons.
Makes sense the Orks got the Spear of Khaine, for the Blood Ravens stealing is a job, for the Orks, it's a way of life
What's funny is that the orks won't appreciate it's power and significance at all and as such it will function like a normal spear for them lol.
Speaking of Ferrus Manus, I cannot wait for your eventual take on the Iron Hands, they're one of my favourite loyalist space marine legions.
Also the Ogre Kingdoms but this is a 40k video XD.
I think you’re confused between Azariah Vidya and Azariah Kyras.
“War against the yellow symbol”sounds like a conflict in warhammer
In Dawn of War 1: Dark Crusade, it is heavily hinted that Blood Ravens had some connections to the Chaos Word Bearers Legion.
yeah they stole some shit from them
This is a fine video, thank you for gifting it to the chapter archives!
"Beware the alien, the heretic, the mutant and the Blood Raven"
Blood Ravens? BOLT DOWN EVERYTHING!!!!!
BRUVA WE HAVE STOLEN THE ENEMY
DoW was my 1st time experiencing 40K but I've been able to find out much about the Blood Ravens until now, so I appreciate finding this 4 year old video.
" Hippity hoppity your artifice is my property. "
BROTHER I'M PINNED HERE!
The video is now copyrighted by the blood ravens
their biggest sin i think was the wiping out of 1st Kronus Regiment, to save a dodgy secret. The secret turned out to be so damning that the BR captain Thule destroyed it afterwards.
>Steal priceless artefacts and relics from others in the name of "preserving knowledge"
Truly, the Blood Ravens are the most English of space marine chapters.
I’m glad you qualified your expertise on this matter, with Australia being an area in the Warp.
YEEEES FINALLY
Funny that a memelord created one of the most comprehensive lore videos on the blood ravens i learned thing about them from this that i didn't before and you did without taking a bloody hour to do so
brother the blood ravens are here to reinforce us
...where is my power sword
... and our land raider is gone ffffff
I want to build a blood Raven army, but with one rhino painted ultra blue. It would have the ultra symbol xed out with a Raven next to it.
0/10 man, like, wtf, no BOREALE, no DIOMEDES
Where are our Bold Brathas
Hippity Hoppity
This video is now our Property - Blood Ravens Chapter Master Gabriel Angelos
