Acrylic painting for beginners - how to paint simple sunsets with a sponge

In this video follow along as I show you how to produce these 2 simple sunsets using simply a sponge.

Equiptment used:
Chromacryl acrylic paint (warm and cool versions of each primary colour) Titanium white and black
Art Spectrum brushes series 2000
Pallet knife
Sponge
Canon SL2 with Canon EF Lens - 50 mm - F/1.8
Canon G7X mark II
Rode lapel mic

These are so beautiful, and you make it look so easy! I'm happy to learn that it's important to prepare the canvas surface before adding paint. I'm curious as to what type of sponge you use in these videos. Also, I do paper quilling and would like to incorporate the two together, so would the glue from adding quilling pieces to the canvas paint hurt it? Thanks!
Sponges are so underrated! they make a lot of things so quick and easy :) and I love both versions of the sunset :) 💜

Crix! So sorry for the delayed reply, been away camping for the weekend 😍 I’m so sorry for your loss, I still cry over my beautiful cat who I lost 3 years ago! Life is very busy just now hence the slow uploads. Hopefully things will start to settle down soon. We’re so lucky to be virus free now in Perth but it means we haven’t had chance to stop and reflect like most of the world. Hope you’re staying safe xxxxxx

The virus seems to be reaching it´s peek (I hope....it´s bad...) where I live....these last few days has been craycray, but, we are managing :) one day at the time...
