But Esther Rantzen doesn't have to go abroad on her own to die. Many people suffering from various forms of cancer receive palliative care and die surrounded by their families. It must be desperately terrible for people who die alone. From the moment we are born, we are all dying. We don't get to choose when we are born, and I don't believe we are supposed to decide when we are going to die. Suffering can be so tragic, but sadly suffering is part of this fallen world. Death, suffering and all forms of pain will be with us until Jesus returns and makes all things new. I don't understand why we would think we have the right to decide when we die? Unless we believe that we have given ourselves life, and therefore it would obviously be for us to decide when and where and how. This is what happens when people commit suicide. I'm sure that most people who commit suicide are going through extreme mental torture. We have no idea how difficult some people may find their lives.
I think that it should be by choice every one knows there own bodies especially with people who are dying we shouldn't have our dignity taken away I've saw too many people in my family die my nan had end of life care and it wasn't nice to see watch she was in a lot of pain angony some days.
