- Walleye 1 vs 1!! After getting beat in the first competition I really wanted a rematch and a way to redeem myself... Figured since I only caught 2 Walleyes the first video I would really push myself to up my game and challenged Jay to the MOST WALLEYE in 8 hours!! You guys are great entertainment. For a new challenge I would say make it hard (er). Like from 12N to 5 PM in the summer. Or, having someone driving the boat & filming and you and jay switch left/right or front/back every 30 minutes. Just think of the BS or shade you could be throwing at each other!
Your fish were a much better size than most of Jay's but he had that northern incident that was amazing!!

Not to bash you clayton, to be a fair challenge to me is to do a re-count on your first fish and only count the fish on that rod n reel... on JAY'S Video in his boat there is only one pole compared to your video, where your boat there's pole every where ready to be used.... still ur content is still great thou...

@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors alberta has closed keeping walleye for +10 years! The walleye in those lakes have zero size or different year classes so we got lakes that have 1000’s of the same 40-44cm fish that are basically being staved and are super easy to catch, yay failed conservation programs. Lol

Good show sir! Do you single hook the leech in the head area or do you hook it twice - to kind of thread it on the hook? Ever use a stinger hook? Sorry...last question...any chance you could tell me what net you're using? it looks perfect. Congrats again on the triumph!
I usually single hook them, sometimes when the bite is really slow I will double hook them. I don't use a stinger hook with a leech because they would just make a mess out of it. The net is from frabill, its one of the smaller nets. I will mention it in an up and coming video :)

I bought some super slick this spring. I've been using power pro forever. Did you find that the super slick was a bit twisty for a bit until it settled in? I remember the first half of the first day I was so pissed off at it and almost took it off and put on some older just plain power pro lol
The active jig and a minnow and the dead stick jig and a minnow is probably one of the best fishing things I've ever seen or heard. I grew up at a fishing camp and guided alot of my younger life. Unreal funny to me. Also just good fishing practice ahahhahhaa
