What is it about Mary that no matter your level of interest in a topic, you just want to listen to every word. I think it's that her gentle, kind, loving, Godly character shines thru every video. Thank you, Mary
The scrubbies was my mother in laws Christmas gift (extra) every year. When she was in her last year(cancer) I didn’t get any. After 30 years you miss them. She sewed hers. Thank you for the memory.
Last Friday my woman's fellowship group from church went out for breakfast then back to church to make goat soap. Now I understand why soap is SO expensive!!!!!! It was so much fun, and the highlight for me was getting to go and visit the goats also.
Mary, for the scrunchie make yourself a template with 2 wooden dowels fastened onto a wooden stand. That way you can wrap the mesh around the dowels then tie them between the dowels and fluff. I used a pretty rope to hang the scrunchie up in the shower.
Mary, you are just so soft and sweet. Why do I feel like you are talking to me directly. You are just so talented and so generous handing out your recipes and information. Love your videos. ❤
I always use body butter, year round. I am in the desert for several months in the winter time and wow, does it help. Yes, men do use body butter. Good for their feet, hands, elbows and wherever they have dry patches. I so enjoy watching your channel, Mary. I live in chronic pain so I cannot do all the things that you do. Watching your channel helps to deal with the inactivity, although, I can still do dishes and go for walks with my little doggie.
The smell of Cloves says holidays to me. This brings me back to my childhood. I use Cloves as a mouthwash. Just simmer cloves in water for about 15 minutes, cool, and pour on small spray jars. I keep one in my car, so I give myself a quick spray when doing errands. Lol
Cloves is one of my favorites as well. I made homemade sweet potato bread this past weekend and I just wanted to smell the cloves. Never thought about the mouth spray, interesting.
How kind of you to share your recipes and talents for these lovely products. I love the gift boxes. I wished I lived closer to you, as I know I would be in trouble purchasing all your products. Take care.
Enjoy your videos so much. Seems there is nothing you can’t make. Who knew you could make lip balm. Love your kitchen. It looks so bright and that island is beautiful. You did a great job on it.
I enjoy all of this. I make lip balm with the kids in my summer camp. We use a small tray where you attach the tubes underneath and pour on the top then there is a small scraper to scrape the overflow into the tubes. When the solidify, remove the tube and cap them. It's much easier then trying to pour straight in the tubes. I got mine on Amazon, $16.
Thank you for sharing your recipes, I’ve been diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder where both my skin and lungs are involved so I need to not use chemicals. I’m going to see if I can manage to make some of these. Hi from Australia ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉 P.S I love that you are doing the sample boxes for candles such a great idea!
Mary, you are such a burst of energy, do you ever just stop and kick back with a cup of coffee/tea/whatever? Your beautiful environment would draw me outdoors to do so. I sometimes live vicariously through your videos. God bless.
These are great recipes. I have been making my own lotion and face oil cleanser for years and I will never go back to those chemically-drenched products in the stores. I hope your fan base gives them a try or buys yours if they’re not sold out so they can see how easy and nourishing they are for our bodies. Thanks. ❤❤
When I was little I would make the nylon scrubbers. There was a big hobby shop LeeWards in Chicago not open any more I don’t think. I always wanted to make things. I wanted to learn to knit, taught myself. I took sewing in high school for three years.
Love the simmer pot recipe! I gave my daughter and daughter-in-law a clear simmer pot and gave them ingredients for their first batch for Christmas a few years ago…they loved them! Thank you so much for sharing your recipes…very sweet of you! I have a friend who makes soap and lip balm…she shares! 😉. Cindi (from WV).
I just ordered the Christmas candle set. I can't wait to try them. May God continue to bless you in ALL you do Mary. Your channel is my absolute favorite 🙂
Mary, I've seen little trays on Amazon for filling lip balm containers. They have holes in them, and you stick them on top of your containers. That way, they're not messing up your kitchen.
I could envision all the wonderful smells. I would love to make all the things but unfortunately time isn't always available. I'm thankful for you, creating all these wonderful items! Everything looks amazing ❤
You can whip air into coconut oil and it turns into hand lotion. I used my hand mixer. I love your creative products. They are so thoughtful and lovely. God Bless!
Your videos are always inspiring and relaxing. I love that you are willing to share recipes and give helpful rips on the precess. You are a true treasure!.
Ive been thinking about doing some handmade gifts for Christmas this year. Thanks for the inspiration! I bought your set of 3 fall candle products and love all the scents and the fact that its soy wax! I plan on buying some Christmas scents now!!
I was surprised to see Mary use a red Kitchenaid mixer, as I’ve only seen her use a white one before. I have a red mixer that I got for Christmas last year, and I absolutely love ❤️ it!
I am super excited, I just ordered your Christmas candle sampler for my daughter who is 37 and has everything but your candles haha Can't wait for her to receive them
the lip balm!!! I'm going to try to make that for my Christmas presents. Your house must have smelled so good after all these things you made... wonderful to see you busy like that
Thanks for sharing a great video Mary, but I'd rather purchase your items then make my own! lol I'm so sure your products would out shine anything I would even attempt to make. Just purchased from your site! Love your products! :)
You never cease to amaze me with all of your talents! I just so love coming to your channel each week and seeing what you are up to this week. Beautiful collections. I cant wait to go look on your shop to see what is left available.
I love all this handmade products. Buying your handmade products is giving a scented therapeutic gift to your soul. 😊 During the Winter months I miss the sounds of birds chirping. p.s. I really like that new island you made and the curtain in front of your sink.
I love your soap! I like to buy several bars at a time which means I don't use it right away. Since I don't use it right away, whenever I do take the label off to use it the little pin that you use to hold the label has rusted and makes a big discolored spot on the soap. It doesn't affect the use of the soap, but it doesn't look nice to display it. Perhaps a small sticker to hold the label instead of a pin would work better. Just a suggestion! Love your channel and your positive content.
A beautiful video Mary! Your products/gift ideas look amazing. Thank you for giving us such a great video each week. No matter what you do, yours is my favorite to watch & be inspired! ❤
This is such a wonderful video! I love these ideas and your packaging. It looks like the lavender spa boxes have sold out. Hopefully you'll add more before Christmas and I'll check back. :)
Jojoba oil is a very beneficial plant oil for a full body, face and hair moisturizer. The body receives /accepts jojoba oil very well cause it is very close (molecular) to the body’s sebum. Just a few drops per section on the damp body. Also can be used as a make up remover.
I have thoroughly enjoyed all of your October!! Your family is amazing and beautiful!! When Thalia started to pucker up, I felt like she realized that she really shouldn’t mess up that pretty cake! That was so sweet and brought back sweet memories of long ago! You did a beautiful job on her cake! Can’t wait to see questions and answers. Love seeing you! Nana Brenda
Any chance you could make a men’s aftershave lotion? We had a company in our hometown that sold it but they have since retired. It was the only husband would use. Love your videos and always look forward to whatever you’re up to.
I love it. I have a smaller funnel you could use to poor the wax into the lip tubes. I have some old farm bureau cook books that have recipes for hand lotions, but you probably have the same from being Amish. I will look up my grandma’s cook books. I will send them to you.
Do you think you might add a dishwashing soap to your line? I wouldn’t be without the “Caldrea” line for my cleaning essentials. I started using these products when all she had was a web site. Love, love, love them. My husband calls me the Ultimate Consumer as wherever we travel I shop the local grocery stores to see what’s being sampled in their area.
Hi Mary. When you make all of the spa products, are you using your everyday pots and dishes along with your mixer? If so, how do you clean them without the taste of the oils going to the food? I hope this makes sense. Love watching your channel.
Hello Mary. I'd like to reuse your candle jar with the black lid that I purchased. What is the best way to get them cleaned? Also, I'd love to purchase a few bath soaps, and I was wondering which you recommend for dry skin. I find homemade soaps I've tried (not yours) make my skin dry. The labels are adorable. Great video Mary.
I watch you do these marvelous things and I want to do them myself. The body butter looks interesting. I so enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing, Mary. Oh, and how did you make your kitchen and dining room look so much bigger? Looks fabulous, but bigger.
What is it about Mary that no matter your level of interest in a topic, you just want to listen to every word. I think it's that her gentle, kind, loving, Godly character shines thru every video. Thank you, Mary
I agree 100%

We were in Holmes County this weekend & stopped by your booth to but some soap for Christmas gifts!! ♥️🎄♥️🎄♥️🎄

Cloves are used for toothache pain and there is an old fashioned chewing gum with a cloves flavor.
Thank you for the bird song. That was wonderful.
How kind of you to share your recipes and talents for these lovely products. I love the gift boxes. I wished I lived closer to you, as I know I would be in trouble purchasing all your products. Take care.
We made chapsticks yesterday. We have a kit to make it easier to fill the small tubes. It works well.
You have a beautiful kitchen it must be a joy to work in it, so much light and space.
Mary, you really are a Jack of all trades, I wish I had your energy. ❤😊
we worked on our garage/shop for 4 hours today thank u for the motivation
i miss seeing the bible veres in your vlog
What wonderful items!! I wish we had Smell of Vision! LOL!!! Would be awesome to smell!. Thanks for sharing.
Great ideas for the upcoming holidays! Thanks!
Yes, that's exactly what I think too. There's nothing better than a self-made gift

What a fab video, I don’t have any of the necessary bits n bobs to do this, but loved watching it

My grandmother made the poofy nylon scrubbers when I was growing up and she sewed hers. I can picture them right now-wishing I had one!

If you take a damp paper towel and place it underneath the cutting board it will stop it from sliding when cutting or chopping.
Hi, the products look enticing. Any idea when these body products would become available on your website?
Mary, Temu sells mini funnels that would be perfect for your chapstick solution.
Use pipettes to pour the lip balm!

Do you make any soap without the palm oil

Will you have more lip balm on your website again??
Hi Mary, always enjoy your videos they are so inspiring. what recipie did you use for the lip balms?

Wonderful video! Where do you buy your essentail oils - if I may ask?
Hi Mary . Where did you get your kitchen cabinet curtain and rod . Under your sink .
