My wife and I laid to rest our son Army disabled Iraqi war veteran SSGT Robert E Scruggs a few weeks ago he was 47 years young he had suffered much pain over the years with 6 major back surgeries and PTSD we stayed with him 24/7 for 17 days in ICU the high medications and changed him a lot over the years.
We had him in a Christian school when he was young and he accepted the Lord Jesus his life was changed due to a divorce and much pain all the time. We hold on to two scriptures of Jesus " Once I have you in" My grasp no one is able to take you from me" and " Believe in Me and the Father who sent Me and you will have eternal life " and I know we will see hmi some day in Heaven.
I have tried to rely on the verse you and others have quoted but our hurt is so great losing our only son that I find it hard to pray not mad at God but we can't get past the hurt and pain can I ask your group to pray foe Carol my wife and me
    thank you
    Bob/ Carol

Dear Bob and Carol, my name is Daniel. I recently read your comment on UA-cam. I am sure that God will heal your hearts in this deep mourning that you are going through. I believe that God will honor you for taking care of your son during those hard times in the ICU.
I do not know what it feels like to lose a beloved son. However, I know that the Lord feels your pain... It is good that you pray to God, even if you are angry... You can express what's on your heart, HE already knows, but it's that sincerity that God loves. In the Word there are many examples of people who thought that God had abandoned them (David, Job, Asaf, etc.). God wants you to keep praying so that you and your dear wife can be healed. I will be praying for you. God bless you. I leave you this versicles which have helped me a lot during tough seasons of my life:
Psalm 13 King James Version (KJV) How long wilt thou forget me, O Lord? forever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me? 2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me? 5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. 6 I will sing to the Lord, because he hath bountifully with me.
2 Corinthians 1: 3-4 King James Version (KJV)
3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we are comforted of God.
