Here's a 5 minute speed paint tip on how to master colour tones and values within the human face. It doesn't matter which skin colour you are going to use because the human face is always built with blood vessels in the same place and this is what gives up out unique range tonal range within the face.

Dry brush blending with acrylic. You can do it in Infinite Painter too. Just turn up the texture.

Funny, even in Painter, I am not the biggest user of Textures. I find that anything I can't predict 100% is a no-no for me. I prefer to draw texture in painstakingly bit by bit.
