Agree with all points. But the *gtdupe* is very nice. I have it and use it all the time. Convenient to pack when traveling. Worth both the tote and the clutch. I use my kelly cut a lot and it is similar to the bv clutch. Perfect for formal events like weddings.
I love the white *gtdupe* pack. It's different. I don't usually like white but I was hoping that was a little more forgiving about color transfer since I've read that some people have tried the *gtdupe* white pack and it seemed to work well. "Oil spots!" That's a good description between the shiny and matt caviars.. Mine is the same as yours. The texture shows up more distinctly without the oil spots.
This is so helpful. I want the *gtdupe* in white but I know the black is better for my body shape. Love the slouchy fit of the soft version. The leather/linen version looks nice but is stiffer.

Samantha Mok I was very very lucky I bought it "brand new". It was bought in 2012 from Korea as a wedding gift by the husband to his bride but she never used it. When I inspected it there was not even a single sign of any usage. I paid only 70% of the current price. I already have given up the idea of buying it in the store as I could not justify paying the big price. This was an unexpected buy.

I think you should get a key holder to hold the keys to protect the bag from getting scratched inside from the keys. I highly recommend the Louis Vuitton Key holder which is amazing❤

Yes I am going to the boutique store, the one which is in the famous " rue Cambon " in Paris. I went there last week to see a few classic bags in different sizes, leathers and colours. I have tried a few of them. I needed to think about it for a few days, but now I am sure of my choice🥰.

I did not know that classic double flap can be made in Italy. When I purchased mine in lambskin, the associate told me it just arrived from the flagship store and it was Made in France. My assumption is that all classic items are made in France. This is good info!

Thank you so much! If it's everyday use I think silver might be great and more casual. I personally think gold comes off more as fancy/dressed up. I don't think it matters too much what hardware your jumbo is now, definitely go for something you know you'll grab and use! If you ask me I will always pick gold 😆
Feels very sturdy to me! the base is nice and structured, top flap part has a nice weight to it to open, and the caviar is very puffy and feels decently thick. Hope this helps! The only thing that isn't as 'sturdy' as the rest of the bag I'd say is the nub (turning part between the CC logo). Hope this helps! 😊
Do you know why some of the bottom of the bags have one full leather piece and some have 2 that’s stitched together with the line going straight down the middle?
The easiest way to spot the difference is the number of quilts going across the bag! Medium has 8 diamonds going across, I believe the small rectangle as 7. I don't have one but based off of comparison videos that I have seen is that the price is mainly the biggest difference and along with the medium will fit more in general. Hope this helped! 😊
Is it hard to get in Toronto? I’m hearing the shopping experience is more like Hermes now. That you need a personal sales associate, have had spend a specific amount at Chanel to even be offered the opportunity to get the classics now. 😭
Sorry I can’t answer this!! I got this so long ago but also I am hearing the same as you except the idea of spending a certain amount. I think definitely try to call if they have stock- that’s what I did and hopefully it works present day. I think they are just limiting product to make it more hard to get. Send you tons of luck!!! 💕
What!! Really? Even if it's in the dust bag and tissue paper? 😟 I have the strap away from the bag and everything almost as is from when I received it new in store and it's laying on the back. I'm worried if I leave it upright, it will crease on the bottom.
Hi the zippers don't say anything on the medium flap but on my WOC it's strictly gold with the CC logo at the top of the zipper. Hope this helped! My Chanel items minus the card holder are relatively new and bought within the last 1-2 years. Thanks for watching 😊

Both have its perks. Caviar is better in terms of wear and tear. That is what people compare between the two the most. Though, lambskin is seen as more luxurious and buttery to the touch.

I can’t really see yours because when I look at my bag and yours the inside is kind of the same but when you touch it you’ll feel the air bubbles on the bottom

Not sure why! It's a medium and you can tell because of the 8 diamond running across the flap. Small bags have 7 diamond running across the flap 😄! That's what I learned from youtube.
Agreed! But even with much cheaper bags and other brands like Kate Spade and Ted Baker I still try to keep my bags as pristine as possible! No matter the cost I think it’s the idea of ensuring the wear and tear doesn’t look super worn out. Thanks for watching!! 💕

Hi, love your medium size Chanel bag. I have a jumbo size with silver hardware, and I am thinking to get a medium size with silver hardware too. I am not sure if I should get a gold hardware since I already have silver jumbo.what do you think? Should I get a gold or silver? I want it as everyday use.
Thank you so much! If it's everyday use I think silver might be great and more casual. I personally think gold comes off more as fancy/dressed up. I don't think it matters too much what hardware your jumbo is now, definitely go for something you know you'll grab and use! If you ask me I will always pick gold 😆

How sturdy is it? What is the texture like of caviar?
Feels very sturdy to me! the base is nice and structured, top flap part has a nice weight to it to open, and the caviar is very puffy and feels decently thick. Hope this helps! The only thing that isn't as 'sturdy' as the rest of the bag I'd say is the nub (turning part between the CC logo). Hope this helps! 😊
Do you know why some of the bottom of the bags have one full leather piece and some have 2 that’s stitched together with the line going straight down the middle?

Can u give the dimensions of the medium flap bag ?
The classic medium flap bag is 15.5 × 25.5 × 6.5 cm (6.1 × 10 × 2.6 in)! 😊 Basically it has 8 diamonds going across the flap area.
Which one is better? I saw a same style of this with ysl.
I personally would pick Chanel, it retains its value more. Also it's a totally different vibe/look! Depends what you're going for. 😊

The easiest way to spot the difference is the number of quilts going across the bag! Medium has 8 diamonds going across, I believe the small rectangle as 7. I don't have one but based off of comparison videos that I have seen is that the price is mainly the biggest difference and along with the medium will fit more in general. Hope this helped! 😊

Sorry I can’t answer this!! I got this so long ago but also I am hearing the same as you except the idea of spending a certain amount. I think definitely try to call if they have stock- that’s what I did and hopefully it works present day. I think they are just limiting product to make it more hard to get. Send you tons of luck!!! 💕

It definitely creases a ton more if you have lamb skin. Since mine is caviar it isn’t as crazy but yes, it does have a back crease (not a huge one)
Make sure not to store your bags in the box or it will damage the leather over time
What!! Really? Even if it's in the dust bag and tissue paper? 😟 I have the strap away from the bag and everything almost as is from when I received it new in store and it's laying on the back. I'm worried if I leave it upright, it will crease on the bottom.

Hi the zippers don't say anything on the medium flap but on my WOC it's strictly gold with the CC logo at the top of the zipper. Hope this helped! My Chanel items minus the card holder are relatively new and bought within the last 1-2 years. Thanks for watching 😊

Both have its perks. Caviar is better in terms of wear and tear. That is what people compare between the two the most. Though, lambskin is seen as more luxurious and buttery to the touch.

Not sure why! It's a medium and you can tell because of the 8 diamond running across the flap. Small bags have 7 diamond running across the flap 😄! That's what I learned from youtube.
