Hi everyone, you won't believe what I found in the Chanel boutique store a few years ago.
It is so important to know what to look out for if you are buying a chanel bag second hand (yes, even on reputable sites like Vestiare and Fashionphile). In my video, I cover 18 tips to look out for to check if a Chanel bag is authentic. I hope you find this helpful.

Yes the color of the D U P B A G Y is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

Ive seen recent classic flaps in the boutique where the inner linings have bubbles. For example a bag I saw the inner lining bottom of the bag has air filled in it...

I have to say, my heart broke a little when you said “Oh, Prada does these as well”, regarding the serial number. (I’m a nurse, so I probably shouldn’t even dream about owning a Birkin, but I bought my first Prada earlier this year and I was so proud of it. Now it feels a bit like Dollar General ).

There was a very recent documentary and they were interviewing very well-off women. These women were speaking about how they no longer purchase authentic purses and have chosen to purchase really good *esluxscom* of the designer bags that they do like. They then take that saved money and invest their money into other things such as real estate, stocks etc.
I bought a second hand medium size CF gold bag, everything look authentic based on what you mentioned in this video. I’m only wondering if the strap is a bit too short. What is the length of the strap supposed to be? Mine is only 112cm or 45.5 inches long.
Thanks for sharing. When it is single strapped, the length from the top to midpoint for the classic medium flap is around 43cm/ 17 inches.
Hi there, I noticed that my Chanel from 21A zipper has no brand. This is the year they started the microchip. Should I be alarm? Thanks.
I have read in some forums that the newer series Chanel have zippers that have no brand. If you did get it second hand would highly recommend getting it authenticated professionally.

I juz bought a Chanel Classic Flap in black cavier from Chanel Boutique in Paris, in June 2023, should i be worry or ask for some services to fix the bag strap as i noticed the end of the leather strap within the metal chain is not sewed down/ secured firmly? It looks a bit like loose ends. Is this normal?
There has been quality issues with Chanel pieces in recent years. I think definitely bring it to the boutique with the original purchase receipts and ask if they can do anything about it. In the future, a small tip which I go by myself is to triple check all parts and make sure I’m 100% satisfied before I make the purchase (given how expensive it is!) hope this helps 😊

@@racheltay252 hmm i dont think so! but i bought my bags a few years ago when i believe there were less quality issues and I also make sure i check the bag thoroughly before purchasing it!
Does the bottom quilted pattern line up with the top portions??
Yup the bottom quilts should line up with the top. You need to look at it straight from the front 😊 sometimes if you look at it from the sides it may not seem like it.
Try traveling to Tokyo Japan they sell Original lux brands for less like LV , Channel , Gucci ,Coach ,YSL etc for less its still more pricey than the fakes and still in good condition i just dont know how the costoms works in the USA if they will still tax you 2nd hand lux items but sure either buy the brand new *esluxscom* you want or travel half the world away to buy 2nd hand lux items for few days that also includes your plane ticket hotel accomodations for how many days food and goodie stuffs for families and friends and other expencess but they said " original LV Bag from Japan for less " or just travel to Bangkok thailand and visit the Platinum Mall buy as many replica bags all you want w/o the hassel

Hi. I bought the bag from a person. Inside the bag made in Italy but not printed its on metal? So it’s real or fake?
The metal behind the flap should say Chanel Paris. (Regardless of whether it’s made in Italy or France)
What if it does not have made in France are made in Italy? It’s a chanel vintage classic flap series one

Where do you even go to get a Chanel bag authenticated. I went to my local Chanel store and she said she wouldn’t be able to know how to tell if it was real or fake. I received my bag as a gift but I do want to resell it but not sure if it is the real Chanel bag
My bag checked all the boxes for everything you were showing except the zipper it says EP I never received the identification card with the gift but I do have the clear Chanel sticker with the serial number on it in the bag
Hi there! Thank you for the comment and question. Chanel stores aren’t able to do authentication for customers. I usually use Real Authentication. You can also check out entrupy or zeko’s authentication.

Hello, yes Chanel uses EP zippers as well. Does your EP zipper come with a leather pull tab or a circle double C pull tag (vintage versions)?
It doesn't matter where they are made. It depends on the craftsmen and quality inspection. My family and I have purchased D U P B A G Y bags over the past three years and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
We all know they sell "fake" bag at Chanel or Louis Vuitton 😂 so many clients buy "fake true" at their stores 😮

i have both real bags and H Q D U P S high quality fakes and not gona lie... you cannot tell the difference. i think even rich ladies are just sick of these chanel prices.
Classic flap are made in Italy, every new one with „made in france” stamp is a fake
