The trap with the Hard Drive is very obvious because it's the trap that's already broken open before you do anything with it, with the debris on the floor. The ID card is just there as an extra little hint that someone got swallowed up.
Hitting the crit spots with the sallies doesnt matter most of the time as the damage is essentially the same (difference of 9dmg) so the damage numbers wont exactly help me, maybe in the future they could be really helpful tho i just dont like the clutter, thanks for the shout out Milo keep up the great content :)

Yes! Damage numbers on, basic no attachments. Then pack 1-3 to see what gun is the most powerful ! Then take that gun to round 50 and see how long it does
I like to keep my hud exactly the same as bo3. I don’t really mind the damage numbers, but I just like having unnecessary stuff off my screen. I really like how customizable the hud is now.
I made a discovery and I think it’s pretty cool so I’m proud of it. I found a way to get bowling EE on round 4, working on round 3. You’re able to “shoot” some of the bowling shoes with grenades, meaning you don’t have to open every door to get to all the areas. I managed to start it only opening up to the church, didn’t go in or to the street with speedcola. That means you don’t get spiders til round 7 too!
For the hard drive that you get with the Beamsmasher, I’d recommend shooting the bleeding trap outside the cave entrance in the lab where pack a punch is. In all 5 Easter egg runs I’ve done it’s been in that one!
I play no damage numbers and no health bars, mainly because I like the old school feel but also I enjoy having to learn when enemies are at low health by how they look etc. also jot hard to see when you're getting crits like Milo says...the hit markers are yellow
Nah, you're definitely valid Milo. Damage Numbers are something that I like having on(I honestly keep pretty much all HUD elements on, I just tune down the opacity a bit). I wish you could just have them on for Bosses, and Special Enemies, but since you can't, I just leave them on in general.
I was playing bo3 4 weeks ago religiously, and from the beta i thought this version of zombies wouldnt be good. But now i have damage numbers, health bars, and i really enjoy it…
i like damage numbers it fills my screen similar to how points used to, without them the screen feels mostly empty. also seeing the damage you do is very helpful against abominations
Damage numbers in theory are absolutely awesome. The only problem is that healthbars, hit markers, numbers, names salvage and lethal pickups just take up so much screen space.
Not a fan of damage numbers but it makes sense. Was fighting Nathan the other day and I noticed he was regaining health while my buddy didn’t know at all, so it can be helpful.
That fight is weird, the first two times we did it it wasn’t so hard and it was like above round 15, then the third was below that and Nathan was taking barely any damage and health just regained back to full and zombies were sprinting full speed and taking like 100 shots.
Pro tip: After 4 hours of testing, the keycard needed for the hard drive always seems to be on the floor near the PHD machine.. Also, when you're on the bomb defusal step, USE SMOKE GRENADES! I tend to decoy & go into Frenzied Guard for the first one, makes it mad EZ
I love the damage numbers. Out of everything they could have added, removed or changed, damage numbers are the least of our concern and honestly, its just really good info to know. No longer do we have to guess at what is actually working, when we can see the definitive numbers

My very first reaction was "holy cow this could be an insane speedrun strat" - Literally the next day: Also tip for the tentacle trap - The one you need is the one that has the grate broken. You can check these while running around and it's very obvious which one you need to grab from.

the most easiest way to tell if the trap you need to hit with the wonder weapon is by checking to see if the trap vent was already open if you are playing solo its easy to spot but when you're in a team then it might be difficult to spot cause your team might have used the trap to kill loads of zombies if anyone you play with uses the traps in the map
My favourite thing about the basketball Easter egg is how proud the dev was on twitter when we discovered the Easter egg, surely now they are desperately apologizing to their boss for creating an exploit that completely ruins points progression in zombies lmao
