thanks so much for making this! It's a very comprehensive and insightful guide! I really liked that idea of using a chain shift 66C for meaty oki, I'm all here for funky chain shift shenanigans and the general mixup chart helped a lot. Thanks for sharing your knowledge 🙇
Nice kaguya guide and I finally know how kaguya combos works just gotta stop dropping it lol but with this guide I can use other blockstrings btw Ty Lid for the great guide 😊
Enough time has passed, Under Night In Birth II has now been patched. Can we now all admit that Under Night In Birth II is the new greatest fighting game in the world for all eternity, that anyone who disagrees with me is wrong, and we need to spread the word worldwide like it's the newest wave of Kagura Bachi fever? Matter of fact, spread some more Kagura Bachi love to Japan too! SO gogogo, boys, tell the whole world this: Lobotomy Kaisen is dead, & LOBOTOMY IN-BIRTH HAS BEEN BORN!!!!!!!
Yo Lid! I just found your channel! I’m brand new to UNI! Loving the game! Have chosen Kaguya as my main and am 28 hours in so far! I have just reached Expert in the tutorial. I’m not sure what the 4A, 2C stuff means just yet. So reading the combo strings you kindly posted up look like hieroglyphics at the moment! Definitely going to be watching your VODS and subscribing to your UA-cam for more things Kaguya and heading over to your twitch to enjoy live action as well!! Thank you for the video!
Glad you’re having fun! When we say “4A” and “2C”, we like to talk about moves/inputs using Numpad Notation. You can read more about it here: glossary.infil.net/?t=Numpad%20Notation
Not sure if it's a typo but at 16:12 you do j[C]>5C>5B>3C instead of the notation which is5C>3C. Just wanted to point that out. Super excited what can be done with the character
Thanks for pointing it out! Sometimes the 5B can drop, depending on the starter, so if you want to be safe it’s best to leave it out. I’m not sure if that’s why I wrote that though or I just simply forgot 💀
Thanks! If you’re looking for more character-specific stuff, I’d check out the Mizuumi wiki or join the UNI Player Hub discord. They will likely be able to help you more than I can
I've no idea if this any good if you actually run the numbers, but I've had success using 236AAA for the midscreen ender to create space. Seems like there isn't really anything you can't react to from that position, and if they don't have anything you're free to grenade->dash, concentrate, fire off lasers, whatever. Can kinda do the same thing ending on 214b with or without a CS and just j236C to the other side of the screen. Feels funny more than anything, and sometimes people forget you have a jump cancel off of it.
Yeah I think spacing yourself out with 236A or even using it in neutral could be decent, but it’s something I need to experiment with more. I think doing 214B in pressure depends on what char your opponent is and how aware they are. You can airdash away, but you are stuck in the animation for some time. If you really want to do nades in pressure, I think a tip range 5C into 214A might be relatively safe to throw out
@@Lidomega worth a shot 🤷🏿♂️ your videos are great anyways. You're one of the reasons why I'm intrigued by UNI in the first place. Keep doing what you're doing!
Got any Kaguya tips to share? Drop them in the comments!
Kaguya's GRID win cut-in is most certainly cultured. Apparently.
this is quite literally the best and most concise character breakdown out of any guide ive ever watched on a character. damn this quality is insane
