To trigger this quest you have to go to Zora’s domain and restore the Zora armor first, then the light should appear 😉
It really is a nice quest. I was dumbfounded at first, wondering how i was supposed to do it. I think the order the fires were done in the video is best, i did it the other way round and had to go in a roundabout way to get back, but it was still well in time (AFAIR you have to do it within "daytime" i.e. between the morning and evening bell, which is 12 minutes).
I got to this quest recently and was totally lost on what to do, so I gave up 🙈 thank you for the guide! this is a big help!

How funny, I did this a totally different way. I was able to do this using only the hover bike. I just flew around and landed at each spot in such a way that I could just shoot and fire arrow and take off again. It was a little tricky to pick a landing spot, but I was able to do it pretty quickly. Great video.

zora armor + tulin makes this really easy to complete. I think I had it done in less than 1 hour (hyrule time).

anyone else find it hilarious that BOTW Divine Beast Vah Ruta could have easily cleaned up the Zora Kingdom in TOTK? lol
I used the floating platforms, rockets and fans to get around. Using the Zora tunic is definitely easier.

I got this quest before I received the master sword.
I did too
Did this last night. But I flew around on my hover contraption, made shallow approach to each site, landed, but did not step off hover thing-a-ma-jig, lit fires, and took off again. Had the whole thing done ez peasy….
Nothing. Just a robot standing there waited for you for 1 thousand years. But the view is amazing though. 😂
My thoughts:
1) WHAT?! was there a blue light on top of the temple? I climbed up just by merely curiosity once lol, didnt notice there was that beacon before :´0. Well spotted.
2) I spent hours trying to figure it out how to accomplish the ceremony, i tried a lot of zonai crafts to beat it but always failed 🤣 for some reason I Ignored the waterfalls, until of course, i realized that the zora armor (that i already had) + the waterfalls had something in common 😅😂😭🤦♂.
3) Is it me or the whereabouts of the Zora armor pieces in ToTK doesnt make sense considered BoTW...? do you have any thoughts or ideas on that?
I agree… I think they should let you get the armor before they actually do
How I miss my bombs, my thunder blade, my flameable sword. The only cool feature is that now you can ride the dragons....now that is cool.

I did this the other day and at one point I accidentally fell into a pond. I thought, Uh oh 😕 But the game didn’t say anything so kept going and I got it.
I think your feet can hit water. It just can’t hit a surface
I did this side quest before I got the Master Sword.
Another way to get rid of sludge is fuse a splash fruit and an arrow and shoot the sludge
Zonai devices are ok to touch i juat tried wirh a auto build bike using stones
Believe it happens after you have enough time in game. I don’t have Master Sword yet and I finished that temple run awhile ago. Can’t recall when I first noticed it but I still hadn’t finished the 4 sages yet. Only had 2. Must be tied to hearts or how many shrines you’ve beaten
I have no idea, it could be tied to finishing the Island, I didn’t think to look up when I got off of that island. I was just glad to get off of it 🤣😂
Hmm, I have finished like 90 shrines, have three stamina wheels, 18 hearts and have the sword but not the shield. no blue light up there...:/ Only done 1 temple so only got birdboy with me. Perhaps thats why?

@@nisselarson3227 I think you have to restore the Zora armor first is what triggers it, I guess that would make sense because you have to have it to be able to do it😉

I lit the 3 fires, went back to the temple and the quest is still going? He’s not telling me well done for completing it, just asks me if I want to quit
You must have thought you lit one and maybe you didn’t go back and check it or start it over🤷♀️ Would be my suggestion
I was playing botw a few weeks ago....they had 6 years to come up with something original, instead we get more weapons that break...same old amour and OMG same horses except for the golden stallion and same villains (Yiga clan seriously). More fairies....Jesus H Christ! It's as if McDonalds decided to improve the Big Mac by adding more meat pate and more cheese. BTW where is all this armour because you know in 6 years they still don't point anyone in the right direction....and NO ONE is apparently capable of telling me how to upgrade that stupid battery.

I have found out, to trigger the quest all you have to do is restore the Zora armor 😉
But you can get the master sword by either making it to the dragon… On your own… Or you can do this👇
