  • Nilesh Chauhan, a former art director from Mumbai, became India's first self-taught feather carving artist, a journey sparked by an image of a feather art book sent by his sister. With no artists in India known for this craft, Nilesh leveraged his ad agency experience and successfully carved his first piece from a fallen pigeon feather. Since then, he has created over 100 intricate artworks and portraits using fallen feathers from exotic birds like Scarlet Macaw and Silver Pheasant, ensuring no harm to any birds. His works, varying from 10cm X 2cm to 24 inches in length, include portraits of famous personalities like Sachin Tendulkar, Balasaheb Thackeray, and Sai Baba, showcasing his unique and rare art form. #India #mumbai #feather #art #artist #viral #viralart #birds #unique
