"A stronghold is anything I trust more than Jesus; anything I run to for safety other than Jesus". That just hit different...in a good way. Now I'm interested in knowing what's the difference between a stronghold and an idol (if there is a difference). Maybe the definition of an idol would be anything that's a stronghold in my life other than God.
An Incredible sermon Pastor Bill, Trust comes from our Heart…. A lifestyle of a bad thoughts allows the enemy to hide. A problem without a redemptive solution. Fear, jealousy, and resentment…profound… the farther you go with God knowledge comes to.. our Grace through the Lamb.
Demonic power behind lies, in prayer God we find a weapon of warfare. The battles we win here allows us to win the battle out there, the lord is good in a strong hold, in the days of trouble, he is our hiding place. It’s not our place to blame others… but pray ! otherwise we are not, in a place to bring change… it’s keeping the mind set of Jesus. God knows those who trust him, He lives in our hearts…it’s through his love we are able to trust…

I needed this. I cannot and will not have any other dependence than my Father. My catalytic converter was stolen last week and I got scared. Scared about how I would get to work, how would I fix this, etc. Praise God He had a solution that's bigger than a car. He didn't send it but He's used it to matureme past dependence on money.
Comprehensive insurance should cover the converter if you have that type of coverage. How did things work out?

Help me to know how to hear the Voice a Lord
thru His sacrificial death - 'into your hands i commend my spirit' - Jesus establishes The Father as trustworthy, this destroys the work of the snake in Genesis 3; when he told Eve & the 1st Adam that God is not trustworthy - {paraphrase - He's lying to you to keep you dependant on him} - 4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
How can a defeated enemy live in our mind? Either Jesus defeated the enemy or He didn’t. Doesn't the Bible say that the enemy touch not God's anointed? Why would I fight something that God already defeated?
The bible says "we fight not against flesh and blood . . ." we fight because it's in the Word. And we fight from the victory of Christ, enforcing what Jesus accomplished. How can a defeated enemy live in our minds? only by our agreement.
