- Everything we think and do comes from either love or fear. Bill Johnson shares examples from the Israelites exodus out of Egypt of how their choice of fear led to complaining and caused them to lose sight of who God is. Complaining will always distort our view of God’s goodness and faithfulness. As the gatekeepers of our own hearts, we have the choice to live and speak from love or fear.

Read genesis chapter 1 to 11. Monday read genesis chapter 1, Tuesday read Psalms chapter 1, Wednesday read John chapter 1, Thursday read genesis chapter 2, Friday read Psalms chapter 2. Weekend off. Monday read John chapter 2, so on. Have a clean bible no markings or past thoughts on a topic. Read one chapter a day. Write down what you read in your own words. Talk to Jesus Christ about what you read for lessons learnt or encouragement. Also understand, take notice what God is saying, what people are doing and their response and consequences, so on.
"Where the Lordship of Jesus is being compromised, complaining will be the evidence." Wow!!!!

I have the spirit of complaining, of pessimism, of cynicism. And today during this Lenten season is the day I want to leave it all behind.
I may have to listen to this message more than once ~
LORD penetrate my heart, my mind, and my soul. You are my provider, my refuge, my strength, my hiding place, my song, my king, my life, and my love! Let no words keep me from you. And no beliefs hold back my blessings!
Father, I have these things too! Please DELIVER me, in Jesus Name.

I mean, I PRAISE GOD there ARE (still) "Anointed ministers" alive & ministering upon this planet --- though they're rare-ish. Pastor Bill Johnson's teachings ARE so enlightening, reasonable, Scripture-filled, MIGHT not make TOTAL sense to an unsaved person, but make TONS of sense! His words/teachings are truly like the "fresh breath of the Holy Spirit wind" -- with "love, power, & soundness of mind"!

It all comes to know who God is, what standards God has, and our response to this and trusting God through Jesus Christ . Life with God is journey till we meet Jesus Christ or Jesus Christ comes to take me home, all those geninue followers of Jesus Christ.

Thier are plenty others. It's not that complaining is wrong, it's the getting stuck and always or continually complaining that kills us and not pleasing to God.
