I know you are known best on UA-cam for your cat art, but I always love the art pieces where you take risks, do portraits, and explore your fantasy style the best. For me, the second piece represents the potential of new beginnings, and the love of something new in your life that fuels you or brings joy, peace and comfort. Just like the blooming lotus is the beginning and potential for a new plant to birth and continue the cycle of nature.
Beautiful as always! The last piece of art reminds me of a saying a friend of mine used to say when someone was in a time of hardship. "No mud, no lotus." When you come through your troubles you will emerge in bloom.
She looks like she is focusing on her energy. Both are beautiful.
The 1000 petal lotus is the crown chakra. Spiritual enlightenment and divine consciousness
To me, the lotus woman artwork means Peace. I love both pieces you did (the cat one is adorable!), but the lotus woman one just exudes a peaceful feeling and I love it!

The second artwork got me thinking about the renewal and new life. I've been having a bit of an identity crisis this year, so it's probably why I thought about new life when I saw the second art piece.

To me the last piece represents tranquility in growth, or the rebirth of ones self through growth. Throughout our lives we are constantly growing and changing not only physically, but at our core as individuals. And I think part of growing up is becoming at peace with who you are as you discover who you are as an individual. Perhaps this is because I am currently in a transitional period of my life, but to me this illustration shows someone who has reached a point in their journey where they feel convenient and at peace with the person they've become- flaws and all. They are reborn not literally, but metaphorically. Reborn in this new stage of their life as a grown individual ready to see the world from a new perspective in the comfort of their own skin.

My thoughts: the lily image may be a naiad, a water nymph OR it’s androgynous as you originally intended. It doesn’t look only female to me. I’m very pleased you drew something other than a cat because it reveals more of your scope. I love the cats, but something else here is enlivening. BTW have you read any of the Warrior books series by Erin Hunter? The books are written for younger readers, but after reading the first book in the first series, I was hooked. Many dozens of Warrior books later, I’ve just read the first book of the latest series. If you love cats, you will love these books. 🐈 Meow

The artwork made me feel calm and serene. It’s a very pretty piece.
This makes me want to try more limited colour palette pieces! I really love having restricted colours especially for shading, it adds a lot of life to an illustration.
Both pieces of art work are great, think the pencil definitely helped the kitty drawing. Um the Second one, looks like this is more spirit of nature, relaxed and becoming one, her hair reminds me a little of trees um the vines I like this quite a bit too.
analyzing the piece with the lotus and the person, to me it feels like a representation of growing and becoming a better person and finding peace through chaos. the leaves growing around her and the lotus are blooming and beautiful, and in real life they always are changing and growing in accordance to the weather and sun. Even after the winter season, new flowers and new leaves begin to grow into a new life. and the person in the artwork is peaceful with this, even smiling calmly. in the process, kattvalk described using the ink as chaotic and almost random even, and the same thing applies to growth in plants, and in people. Plants learn to adapt to chaotic weather, if there is an obstacle in the way of their growth they can grow over it. people are very similar, we can change to adapt to a new situation we're unfamiliar with and we find peace after accomplishing a goal. this whole artwork may be a representation that we can find a way through the chaos and unfamiliar territories within our lives, and we can grow up and become all the better for it. through hardships, we learn what truly matters, and we bloom into something beautiful.

The lotus is often a symbol of birth/rebirth and beauty or purity, since lotuses grow beautifully out of mud. It's a super important symbol in ancient Egypt and in Buddhism, I think. This piece is beautiful, I really liked it!

Will you be releasing the lotus lady as a print? It's beautiful and I would love to have a copy in my home
Does anyone have recommendations of where to get prints, acrylic charms, etc of your own work? I live in Sweden and I'm unsure where I can get quality products. I have tried making my own prints on photo paper but no matter how long it dries it always smudges. (I used inkjet photo paper and I have an inkjet printer so I don't understand what I did wrong, but to be fair I suck at computers.
I have also printed some art for resin works and picked the option high quality in the settings but the images still look rather blurry. Is it simply the printer that is no good?

I love both pieces so much! To me the lotus is a symbol of purification, blossoming from muddy water. But the way you drew it, it feels like its a bridge between the character and a spiritual plane or the sky
