This is a cool series. But imagine being a random person taking a hike through the woods and seeing four men in camouflage surrounding a ripped up bloody tent.
Damn only I wish would have been done differently is the use of German flektar camo or woodland. Multicam definitely wasn’t around then. Small (but nerdy detail) love the good work keep it up!
I.m 63 and I have to say this short was 100 times better then alot of movies i.ve seen in my time on a scale from 1-10 I give this a 15+ please bring more like this ❤❤❤
I'll admit I looked at the comments and stuff before hand so I new and still was on the edge of my seat at the end with the camera man left us with a cliff hanger!
Keep it up you guys continue to impress the one thing I will say, small nitpick if possible, ik it can be expensive, try to do get time appropriate camouflage patterns. Once again just a small nitpick doesn't ruin it by any means.
Given the year the series takes place, I suggest getting some uniforms with ERDL camouflage and ALICE Load Bearing Equipment since those gear and uniform are around that time period (and cool points). Still an Awesome series. Keep it up!
When a fun short film by young guys has better muzzle discipline and creativity than the blockbusters *chef's kiss* Looking forward to you guys getting the attention and budgets you deserve!
Thanks you so much I really appreciate it!! And it's actually a real deer skull that we got from a Hunter. From there I completely redesigned it and added all the cool aesthetic stuff to it.
Man I thought there wasn’t anything after the walker video, but I guess I watched the other videos during their release. I’m glad I checked back! Very cool series.
Bonjour. Excellente vidéo. On a là tous les composants d'un "found footage horror movie" réussi et abouti, tension palpable et mise en scène rythmée! Merci pour la vidéo. Bonne continuation à la chaîne🙏
The weird thing is that this stuff is split into categories and not something short and dumb, I appreciate how much work this took to make it’s pretty cool, keep it up and keep doing great 👍
I love everyone who made this series I like how you made the bloody stuff look so real!same with the footage it looks like a 1970’s - 2000’s footage cartrage
Oh yea and they should have a radio or walkie-talkie and like this video they set up camp and don’t think anything about it until they are all picked off one by one
Well done fellas my only critique would be that you should have worn olive drab jungle cammo to match the 1970s time line the ocp pattern is way to new but still very well done
It’s nice how like the Dyier Corporation is kind of like SCP but what would be cooler where you guys have new era gear and thermal goggles. Having helicopters edited in too would be super cool
I've trying to find you guys for MONTHS trying to remember the name.. But as soon as I saw the video and the channel name I recognized you guys immediately 😭
This makes me wonder how adept the “wendigos” in this series are at climbing; because, if they don’t particularly excel at it, these lads probably could’ve taken up a position in the trees rather than staying on the ground.
I love the retro style, and it was a cool scene. It captures the terror of encountering unknown threats in dark forests. However, the weapon specialists had very unbelievable tactics, often haphazardly breaking formation and making themselves and their cameraman very easy to sneak behind. Still, it was very enjoyable to watch.
@@jamesdettlaff9415 I actually rather liked that. Helped sell the fear of the cameraman. Nothing more annoying than a 'terrified' character acting normally.
Very interesting video. I hope ya'll are working on a series, maybe each vid 10 minutes long. Looks like you have era appropriate attire too. Yes I subscribed. I'm going to have to take the time to watch all your videos in order!
Wow seems realistic overall, the camera guy sounded like he's experiencing pure terror and he's petrified to death. I'd like to see more of this too>? Footage also reminds me of the BACK ROOMS
It’s believed that a human can become a wendigo monster by eating other humans, or be a human with a large amount of greed, so are cave critters related to wendigos, because they can both influence humans.
the frame rate makes it obvious the the camera is digital, but the film grain helps make it look older. fade the colours a little and it will look older.
I saw this on TikTok and I thought It was gonna be another short film like the garbage you always see, BUT HOLY SHIT I LOVE THIS
Thanks we really appreciate it we try to make it the best we can!
I'm starting to believe this legend

The only time that being the cameraman doesn't give you immortality. RIP John.
This is a cool series. But imagine being a random person taking a hike through the woods and seeing four men in camouflage surrounding a ripped up bloody tent.
imagine being the ghost of the victim and seeing the military trying to kill the creature that just killed you
That would be terrific.
NAAH I WILL RUN SO FAST BACK TO MY HOME
How would you see them?
Ranger: The perfectly normal camping experience
6:39
Man: *screams and makes noise*
The Wendigo: Oh, so you're chosen death
The three guys with guns:rushing to the wendigo
Camera man: *hyperventilating*
Cameraman: sees comepletely broken tent with huge holes. "ah this place seems safe"
“Stay here I’m gonna check it out” lmao
Bullet lightning when fired would've been scary as hell as well
Looks intense. This should definitely be a horror film, I mean it's gotta happened
It definitely will eventually
I’ll give my vote 🗳 for that bet
@@BuddyFilms nice cast also is this filmed in tannehill or another park if not tannehill pls tell me
lowkey inspired parts of my wendigo film@@BuddyFilms
I'll trademark it i called Dibs
Would have been cool had y'all used era specific uniforms and equipment. Still pretty fun to watch though.
Same thoughts here
When the wendigo stuck its face through the tent to play peekaboo with the man the man flipped out
Man the cameraman is not built for the job 😂
Great video! Love the series!
Awesome job guys! I'm a year late, but matching the teams weapons and having spare gear is a must. Mall ninjas, unite!
I gotta admit this seems like the back rooms stuff mixed with monument mythos. Like this is something film theory should cover
man: *hide's in the tent*
"AHHHHHHHH"
Wendigo: "gimme your candy"
Ooooh yes.. the old "I'll hide in the ripped open bloody tent tactic". Because that obviously worked out soooooo well for the previous occupant/s 🙄
I love that you guys made the wendigo into the monster and did have some actual facts about it
Damn only I wish would have been done differently is the use of German flektar camo or woodland. Multicam definitely wasn’t around then. Small (but nerdy detail) love the good work keep it up!

Watching an horror as it starts, pretty cool.

The dude who had the camera when he was yelling it sounded like Richard watterens form the amazing world of gumball. 😂
this is my favorite series right now- im not even into horror stuff and everytime i watch horror stuff i crap my pants but this is amazing
This one is my favourite. Absolutely amazing work, especially from whoever was holding the camera.
These are absolutely amazing and you guys should be funded to ne able to make an actual movie with this
Or a series, I dont care as long as it gets bigger and even better (even tho it's already awesome!)
Thank you so much we really appreciate it. hopefully one day we do get funding because we would be able to do so much more.
With hard work it could be possible my dads friend is a writer for the shoe watchdogs and they started on UA-cam
@@Waffle_narps dude that's awesome hopefully something like that happens

I love how this linked to the wendigo video. If you listen to the dialogue, the park ranger calls the camera man “John”
That's some good work right there
"document everything!" the most famous last words
