Fort Yargo State Park: Where History and Nature Meet

Fort Yargo State Park is a great place to explore and learn about the history of the area. It's plenty to see and do while you're there. I walked some of the trails and looked at the preserved log blockhouse in the park. The park has a nice visitor center with restrooms and items you can buy. Once you leave you walk out into a beautiful lake view and wooden bridge. There are plenty of trails you can hike or bike ranging from .5 miles up to 13 miles.
