Yeah, idk about that. It’s so aggressive, almost like he wants to get through it as fast as he can. A song as meaningful and a message like this isn’t meant to be played fast and aggressive
@@jamesrobinson4039 TBH I don't really hear a ton of vocal range as in pitch range, but I do hear a ton of breath control. This is close to being my favorite song of all time so I'm not dissing it.
I love this song and this particular performance of it so much. A million thanks to the person who recorded this. It's been at least 7-8 years since I heard it last (this is a reupload), but today I picked up the guitar and played a little bit of it from memory and, and I was having so much fun. Bouncing around in my chair while playing, singing like hot garbage belting the lyrics and beautiful vocal shit Mr. Mangum does (mines awful though)... and I remembered this video. Anyhow, it's just damn beautiful. I wish I could have been there for this, but I was just a lil toddler at the time. Whenever they figure out this whole time traveling thing, this night right here, is pretty high on my list to travel to. :)
Easily the best performance of this song ever.
I'd say it's just Jeff's best performance, ever. At least the best one I've seen.
a trick : watch movies on Flixzone. I've been using it for watching lots of of movies lately.
@Ezekiel Anderson Yup, I have been watching on flixzone for since november myself :)

Bruh. 100%. This is my fave, hands down.
What an amazing vocal range.
And breath control.

The last verse I think are my favorite lyrics ever
The last few notes he sings sounds like some indie mormon tabernacle choir! Love it

Yeah he said fuck no I'm not gonna hold name out 😂
i love the little quirky way jeff plays guitar
he's locked in
does anyone know what those open chords he’s playing are, right now I’m just playing regular barres and taking off my pinky and ring fingers
B, A and F# barre chords for the first section, the rest of it is a B power chord and a standard E major.
He's also letting top two strings of the guitar ring open with all the chords he's playing
😶
BUT I WONT DO THAT AGAIN
