@@Davids6994 i got into simracing during COVID and raced in the eSports series on iRacing, but currently the time commitment is a turn off. I like racing when I've got the time for it, not feeling like I have to do 10+ hours of focussed practice every week.
Maybe I'll come back to it in the future, but the way things currently are without any obligations to schedule my life around a hobby is a lot less stressful when it's just for the pure joy of racing.

Ive got decent experience when it comes to competition in sports or videogames, so I know how to focus on myself to get better at something.
For simracing (or iRacing really, not much F1 games or AC experience). Learned a lot from copying what fast guys are doing, and then just constantly in practice pushing the limit, not afraid of doing mistakes. Getting creative with kerb usage, racing lines, finding track limits and inputs, seeing what works and at some point you get a good understanding how to make the car go around a turn fast.
Biggest step forward was the eSports series, getting my cheeks clapped every week while trying my hardest, the skill ceiling is so high.
Same here bro I used to cook in granturismo and f1 games before and during quarantine but now I lost the will to grind especially cause of my sh*t setup

The thing with these cars is that you'll go super wide if you don't turn in exactly when you're supposed to. I noticed it when you complained about understeer

jarno ik denk dat je de vloer stuk reed @5:10 over die chicane en daarom wat langzamer werd naarmate de race duurde. die tamas halverwege diepe bochten rijdt hij met net iets te weinig snelheid waardoor zn stuurrichting klein beetje meer naar binnen komt. denk dat ie daar die 1/2tienden mee wint per bocht. iets minder snel een bocht induiken zodat je stuur richting kan timen en daardoor eerder je gas kan pakken? check vanaf @26:40

welcome to iracing… where the physics feels top class but also like a dishwasher with a turd in it..
Personally I feel no confidence in either the FFB + tyre model… it is so inconsistent and make me either underdrive and lose 1 sec to top split or overdrive and still be .5 off whilst over rotating the car everywhere bc you suddenly have crazy rotation…
