I was here for this message! The thing that stood out to me was that, at a university (which i attended twice by the way) which believes in its approach, that all this world has to offer shy of sin is what must be added to the gospel in order to reach the world, he stated that we are in sin when we believe that the Gospel in itself is not enough to reach the world!

David Platt is getting the same messages from God that I do. He is my "true" brother in Christ!!!

No. As CS Lewis said, 'God is such that if His power could vanish and His other attributes remain, so that the supreme right were forever robbed of the supreme might, we should still owe Him precisely the same kind and degree of allegience as we now do.' On the other hand while it is true to say that God's own nature is the real sanction of His commands, yet to understand this must, in the end, lead us to the conclusion that union with that Nature is bliss and seperation from it horror."

That's all assuming God exists, of course.(I don't know your beliefs regarding God's existence) Lewis also said that sin is man saying to God 'leave me alone' and hell is God saying to man 'you may have your wish.'
Heaven and hell must be thought of only in terms of either union with or seperation from God. To make any other description of these the main point of either corrupts the doctrine of both and corrupts us while we think of them.

Well fitting shirts were never distributed in the Bible.

Well, I don't. But then I can say that I'm god as well, because I just feel it that way. I have no proof, but still people say so, that's why it must be true. Is this your logic.

He clearly abandoned the ability to pick out a well fitting shirt... which is almost a sin in itself
