When you think about it it’s actually quite a nuanced subject. I prefer my pistols to be as accurate replicas as possible, but I would defend the Glock 19 to the hilt. Yes, it’s non-blowback, with a stick mag and moulded takedown levers, but it’s fully licenced and as a display piece is very close to the real steel. And it shoots very well, too. Conversely, despite being a superior build with much better functionality, I’m less drawn to the PT92 (which I don’t own) because it’s not branded. From an aesthetic perspective that makes it less ‘realistic’ to me. But I guess it’s horses for courses.
I love shooting my pistols, but I love em for how real they look and feel and do all the things a real gun would. I don’t own any that don’t meet that criteria.
Im like you, I prefer blowback and that it is a close replica. I can go without blowback the same way as long as the pistol is a close replica, fullsize mag etc I dont mind the missing blowback👍. I have the Sig branded from Swiss Arms and I love it😍. Do a deepdive of your CZ guns maybe 🔫🤔.
Good thinking. I've often considered that but would want to feature the CZ75 in the video and trying to get hold of one is like trying to find hens teeth!
My requirements are that there is no intrusive writing, sufficient enough accuracy to be able to hit at least a can from 10 meters distance and blowback (unless it's a revolver). Although I have a CP99 that doesnt have blowback and is a quite sloppy replica of the real thing and I shoot it the most of all my co2 replicas, since it has the best co2 efficiency and is my most accurate gun and can shoot hole in hole at 10 meters distance. I equipped it with a red dot and a silencer, so it looks really tacticool and is quiet enough to not bother my neighbors. But honestly, for the same price you could get a match grade air gun that's even more accurate and much more powerful, but isn't a replica of course. Will you get the PPQ M2 Q4 TAC or the Q5 Match next month by the way?
Of the two i think i'd go for the Q4 Tac but they're pretty expensive right now and I'm still not sure if i prefer the look over the standard PPQ m2. Obviously, i'll need one of them but may need to wait a little before picking one up.
Colt special combat 1911 - non-working grip safety, wrong trigger, DA on a 1911 !, no blowback, not field stripable, so it's a NO from me ! Glock 19 - Stick mag, no blowback, DA only, not field stripable, so it's a no from me ! KWC SP2022 - No blowback, DA only, not field stripable, so ot's a no from me ! Taurus PT92 - Blowback, field stripable, full size drop free magazine, true SA plus DA first shot (as per the RS), lock back on last shot, so it's a YES from me !
Kwc P.T. 92 is in a class by itself. Thanks for whetting my appetite.
My John Wayne 1911 is amazing , you should check it out !

Absolutely. There are plenty guns in my collection that I’d never be without but that aren’t what I’d call perfect replicas.
