Glass Conundrum - failing to ID antique glass

  • This video is the tale of some antique glasses that have different attributions. I have discussed this with some glass experts and still haven't got a firm attribution

    I came across three wrythen champagne coupes at a car boot. Very fine glasses, it's amazing some of these things have survived. Have sold them on but I'm convinced they were Walsh despite not being marked. They seemed to match the ones pictured in my copy of the Walsh book. I still have one of the smaller glasses a sherry I think which I found in a charity shop. It can be frustrating when you find a nice glass but struggle to find any info. Just this week at a local car boot I found a pair of frosted glass goblets I think are Victorian, but have not found a match or much in the way of info.
