I'm gonna cry, this song is me and my best 5 friends go to song until one died, and we all loved the growlers and hearing this cover is like a gift from our friend that died.
They played this at The Growlers 6 and it was fucking amazing, danced my ass off. first time seeing them, been wanting to see them for the longest time ever, so surreal man so amazing!
recorded them playing this in baltimore and Brooks looked at me while singing "keep that baby quiet cause my head is killing me" and i almost cried i watch the video every day
Blxxd Wizvrd The good Eddie; your música, or this song Is very slowly, the guitar sounds very well. the Growlers renovate that song with your stilo :v hahahahaha
Never thought the Growlers are fans of old down and out Cowboy Songs. Eddie Noack really explored new ground with this one! Glad these boys appreciate it especially with the Gram Parsons nudie suits!!
I was told by my Mom the original story of him writing after the Hitchcock movie! However, the song was written two years after the date of the Whitman killings! Seems this did upset him and was talking to his guitar player, JACKIE WHITE (who is mentioned in the song) actually they said Ol Jackie was Daddy's sounding board while they discussed the Whitman shootings along with, the killings in Wisconsin by Edward Gein, Richard Speck and Mary Flora Bell , who I believe was a murderer at age 10 and most notably an 1930s serial killer Howard Edward FISH! Hence, Can Mary Fry Some FISH Mama? I also found out Daddy didn't say he didn't want it recorded until after he died!! He said This is gonna be a hell of a story after I die! Seems he was right!
Can Mary fry some fish, Mama I'm as hungry as can be Oh lordy, how I wish, Mama You could keep that baby quiet 'cause my head is killing me I saw my ex again last night, Mama She was at the dance at Miller's store She was with that Jackie White, Mama I killed them both now they're buried Under Jenkins sycamore You think I'm psycho don't you, Mama Mama pour me a cup You think I'm psycho don't you, Mama You better let 'em lock me up Don't hand me Johnny's pup, Mama I might squeeze him too tight I'm having crazy dreams again, Mama Let me tell you 'bout last night Well, I woke up in Johnny's room, Mama Sitting right there in his bed With my hands around his throat, Mama Wishing both of us were dead You think I'm psycho don't you, Mama I just killed Johnny's pup You think I'm psycho don't you, Mama You'd better let 'em lock me up You know that little girl next door, Mama I believe her name was Betty Clark Well, don't tell me that she's dead, Mama Cause I just saw her in the park We was sitting on a bench, Mama Talking about the games we used to play Seems I was holding a wrench, Mama Then my mind just walked away You think I'm psycho don't you, Mama I didn't mean to break your cup You think I'm psycho don't you, Mama Mama, why don't you, why don't you get up?

Can Mary fry some fish, Mama
I'm as hungry as can be
Oh lordy, how I wish, Mama
You could keep that baby quiet 'cause my head is killing me
I saw my ex again last night, Mama
She was at the dance at Miller's store
She was with that Jackie White, Mama
I killed them both now they're buried
Under Jenkins sycamore
You think I'm psycho don't you, Mama
Mama pour me a cup
You think I'm psycho don't you, Mama
You better let 'em lock me up
Don't hand me Johnny's pup, Mama
I might squeeze him too tight
I'm having crazy dreams again, Mama
Let me tell you 'bout last night
Well, I woke up in Johnny's room, Mama
Sitting right there in his bed
With my hands around his throat, Mama
Wishing both of us were dead
You think I'm psycho don't you, Mama
I just killed Johnny's pup
You think I'm psycho don't you, Mama
You'd better let 'em lock me up
You know that little girl next door, Mama
I believe her name was Betty Clark
Well, don't tell me that she's dead, Mama
Cause I just saw her in the park
We was sitting on a bench, Mama
Talking about the games we used to play
Seems I was holding a wrench, Mama
Then my mind just walked away
You think I'm psycho don't you, Mama
I didn't mean to break your cup
You think I'm psycho don't you, Mama
Mama, why don't you, why don't you get up?
La zorra la canción 💞, sabes algo acerca de los hiya dunes osea si siguen haciendo música?
Desconozco si siguen haciendo musica amigo lo siento, el ultimo album es de 2014 por lo que veo, buen sonido traian.
Much better than the original in my opinion.
eddie noack original...
"Beast of bourbon" version/cover of this song is 100 times way better, growlers ruined it in my opinion
Es respetable tu opinion.
