Don't forget that the individual mentality of the two roles are different. The FB (A) is an attack mentality as opposed to the WB (S) being positive. Great video as always.
FB for when you have less space to move with the ball (Winger above you is using it), Wingback for when you have the whole wing to yourself. You want runners who can dribble where there is space. Generally, it works well to combine a passer and a runner together. Fullbacks are more of a passer who can dribble a slight bit, but his speed is there more to provide width, catch up to enemy wingers and track back, rather than run with the ball. A key thing to remember is that if you are playing on the counter and have more space to work with on the break, then you can use a wingback with a winger with no issues. When the enemy starts low blocking you, it's time to adapt and transition to fullbacks on attack/support. The reason you're seeing modern LB/RB bomb forward in the prem is because despite Man City and the recent rise of Arsenal, the meta is fast transitions/dynamic play over ball control.
@@StingerNeilD all the season this is my main experiment 😂 in this system I prefer the movement and the passing triangles made by WB but always the FB seems more dangerous in the end product

That will play into it absolutely
Ether mate we got “ya back”! Hehe 😜 👍
The video that I waited the most! You are the best fm youtuber by far.
Too kind my man
You're just saying that because it's true 👍
Great video. What I need to know is which of them stretches the pitch more offensively and then defensively?
Anyone know any good fullbacks who can play either side??
5 months late but Josip Stanisic
Liverpool 🐐 Joey Gomez
My thoughts go the 442. Would it be the same outcome?
Be interested to see...

Would be interesting to see that again, but this time with WB(A) and FB(S).
I'll be doing a few more I think
4-2dm-3-1 with inverted winger, you suggest FB-A or WB-S ?
Try both my man. Judge the stats
