Lookin’ great Matt, keep on going.
I haven’t tried building with depron, just a little with foam board. I’m learning your tricks!
Looking forward to the next episode

Thanks buddy!! This is actually my first build using depron. So far it’s super easy to work with. It sands easier than Balsa!! We are super flattered a builder to your caliber is learning from our tricks 😊

Still looking great! I look forward to seeing how you transition the front wing brace to the fuselage, always fun to guess and then look forward to the next installment 🙂So, I was going to keep you posted about how the fiberglass and polycrylic worked out on the lippisch. Well, the 3/4 ounce cloth is really hard to keep a straight line, it was a challenge. The poly doesn't do much to fill in the weave, so When I get to the bottom of the plane, I'm going to try mod podge, it will add weight, but it lays down the cloth really nice, and probably adds strength. Any way, it didn't look so good after shooting paint, but after heavy weathering with charcoal, paint chips, a trio of bullet holes- I was happy with it -:) posted the post paint flight video the other day, flying great after 6 flights now, really easy and floaty. See ya in Episode 7 👍

Thank you buddy and Thanks for the heads up!! We were considering using poly instead of resin. Looks like we will go resin!! I’m so glad that the flights went well and we will hop over and watch those videos!!

Cool, resin will give it some nice strength. I did a brush on product called mod podge ( water based craft stuff)on the bottom, and was much happier with the results. Nice hard shell, and easy to sand.

I wonder what the wing loading will be when you are all finished. I bet this will feel really solid in the air. Cant wait to see it fly!

Yes that will be very interesting to know indeed. I know the real plane had high wing loading and using the spoilerons helped unload the wings when banking.
